Several years ago I experimented with other LD heads (Bang, SMT, etc) with 47” regular/stiff shafts. What I realized was the LD heads were designed primarily to NOT CAVE IN at those enormous swing speeds that LD competitors generate. That extra mass at the face did nothing for golfers with “normal“ SS’s & probably produced much lower CT/COR.

The first time I went to a PGA Tour event, I was amazed by how high the pros’ drives were (and of course how consistent their ball striking are). It was an eye opener that I still remember. Same with LPGA drives.

SIM or SIM2 Titanium. Have both but prefer the SIM2 better.

Picked up a Sim2 FW recently. What shafts are you guys playing in yours? Looking for upgraded options. Thanks.
