I have only played the Cobras for three rounds, but so far I like them a lot. For a hollow body iron, I have been impressed with the feel (great on flushed strikes, and I know when I missed it) and even more so with the consistency (I have not experienced any fliers so far—have hit my numbers on good strikes and been nearly there on mishits).
The C-Taper shafts are definitely stout for a stiff shaft, no doubt about that. That being said, for my swing at least, I prefer the feel I have with these versus the Project X Rifle 6.0s that I played previously. So far my flights are more consistent and dispersion is better. Admittedly, some of that is likely due to me swinging the club better right now than at times in the past, however, I know I’m not good enough to take all the credit haha, props to KBS for making a shaft that I time up better.
