  1. I went and it is overwhelming the number of vendors there. Starting with clothing companies, many I have not heard of, shoe companies, all kinds of designed, and shoes from Italy never seen before. The travel booths covered golf courses in Europe Africa Asia Central and South America. Spoke to the general manager and senior golf pro from Royal Portrush, Golf degrees from many colleges had booths . Every club mfg ( did not see PXG, or other DTC companies) Met owner of Red Rooster golf glove company. They use a subscription service to replace golf gloves ( and I use them and they are very good). Met owner of Oncore Golf (Vero 1 & 2 and other models) Lots and lots of training devices. I bought the Superspeed Swing Speed improvement system, and Golfforever exercise performance system, promoted by Scottie Sheffler. All in all it was a good show… and they also had pickleball court with players, and vendors selling pickleball equipment and shoes! Got quite an education on carbon fiber pickleball paddles retailing for $200!! Full disclosure- I am just a regular guy who loves golf . Invited there by a person in golf travel business specializing in women’s golf and travel, looking for innovative SWAG gifts to give to the ladies who travel. And ,by the way, met and had pictures taken with Tom Watson (we are same age and I’ve followed his career from the beginning) and Ernie Ells, who was introducing a line of pet products!!!
  2. Good Found a Cut golf ball and looked it up on internet. Read about them and then ordered a dozen Cut Grey, three piece ball with urethane cover. The ball performs well for me….Ball reviews spoke to the cover scuffing. I did not find that to be an issue however it seems that the urethane wears off quickly. At $20 a dozen, don’t mind losing them or having the urethane wear off. Is anyone else experiencing the same results. Do you know where they are made and their history?
  3. Mid South is owned by Talamore and across the street from Longleaf. See if you can play there too! Lunch at Duggans Pub in Pinehirst and maybe dinner at a Steak house in Southern Pines ( can't remmber the name)...
  4. Between Jul 5 and 15 pick a three day two nite package at Talamore in Southern Pines, near Pinehurst...Stay in a two bedrooms double occupancy condo, sleeps four, two breakfasts included , possibly a Pig Pickin depending on the dates you chose, play Talamore and Mid South (both very nice courses, play one course two times, get a $50 pro shop credit, total is $539... Oh yes, it includes a new Scotty Cameron putter with a custom made head cover.....and, yes, it is for real. Have done it a half doxen times over the last several years.
