Getting very interested to try a SIK Putter. The idea behind their Descending Loft Tech (DLT) seems very cool. Knowing that I don't always return the same exact amount of loft to the ball at impact, having some tech to provide some more consistency to the speed/role quality could be a game changer. Anyone have experience with it?

I got fitted for one yesterday, I had a consistent roll with it and the feel of the putter is great, I cannot tell the effect of the DLT but it is the best putter i have ever tried.

I'm pretty new to golf in general, especially specifics for equipment. Recently got fitted for new clubs through the whole bag and getting used to hitting TSi2 driver and TSi3 3-wood. Working slowly on reigning in a wicked slice off the tee so have been mostly playing 3-wood off the tee while I work on the driver during practice sessions to at least get closer to the fairway. Last week I played 27 holes using 3W off the tee the whole time and hit highest % of fairways I've hit and with a very even dispersion of misses left and right (which is highly unusual for me as I'm normally always right). My question is if anyone has any experience or thinks it would be an advantage to game a shorter shaft on my driver for more control but more distance than 3W while practicing with my typical length driver until I can get more consistent with that? Hopefully this makes sense and is in the right spot

While using a shorter shaft you need to check the swing weight, if it gets too light look for adding led tape, most of the pros don’t play regular lenght drivers.

i play mine 1/2 inch shorter and i feel a difference, the longer the shaft the more dispersion you are going to have.

In my irons Srixon Z565s I have Nippon NS Pro 850GH Stiff shafts that have been a bit of a revelation, my smash factor has gone up by about 0.1 giving me about 10 yds extra in length. They gap pretty well too.

For my wedges I have Cleveland RTX 3 52' and 56' and have really struggled to get the gapping right. My Z565  AW goes 120yds with a smash factor of 1.2 the 52 and 56 I struggle to get  smash of 1. The shafts in the wedges are NS Pro Modus Wedge 115. I moved back to an old wedge set original RTX wedges that have Dynamic Gold Wedge shafts and I seem to be getting better numbers but still not great.

So my question is should I try the NS Pro 850GH shafts in the Wedges or is there another solution, the NS Pro Modus Wedge 105 is lighter and higher torque than the 115 could this help?

Before you ask I was fitted for the wedges but not very well!

I recommend you to see a fitter, smash factor doesn’t mean anything in wedges and the avg of the tour is .90 with them.

the goal should be to find a shaft probably not as stiff as your irons because the goal with the wedges should be the workability and be able to hit different distances, not hitting them far.
