Titleist has introduced the GT Drivers and fairways, signifying Generational Technology, marking a significant shift in materials, construction, and performance from their previous TS models. Despite appearances suggesting minimal change, substantial advancements lie beneath the surface.

Titleist's goal was to enhance performance without altering the familiar look and feel. This approach ensures that players have a familiarity with their clubs year over year while hopefully experiencing performance gains. The GT models feature refined aerodynamics, with changes focused on the underside to reduce drag and increase speed, notably through the raised aft section.

Tony Covey and Chris Nickel have done full breakdowns and articles on both the drivers and fairway woods which can be found here drivers) and here (fairway woods). Here is a brief overview to whet your appetite.

The New GT Line

The introduction of Split Mass Construction redistributes weight to the driver’s perimeter, enhancing stability and optimizing performance. Additionally, the GT lineup incorporates a seamless thermoform composite crown, marking a departure from previous designs. This innovative crown integrates a Proprietary Matrix Polymer (PMP), improving acoustics and mimicking the sound of titanium.

The GT drivers emphasize lowering the center of gravity, promoting consistent spin rates and enhancing forgiveness. Titleist’s Speed Ring with Variable Face Thickness (VFT) face technology aims to boost speed across the face, catering to off-center hits.

Titleist offers three GT driver models models (GT2, GT3, GT4) and two GT fariway wodo models (GT2 and GT3)

Each model maintains a familiar look but with significant improvements in speed, consistency, and overall performance. Titleist's approach ensures that while much has evolved, the essence of the driver remains unchanged, catering to both average golfers and Tour pros. The new GT family embodies the philosophy of advancing technology without compromising the core attributes that define Titleist drivers.

The Testing Opportunity

We are searching for four golfers to test, review and keep a GT driver and fairway wood from Titleist. Testers will be fit through a Titleist certified fitter and will receive the clubs which they are fit for.

Titleist has made some bolder claims with this line, and the name indicates this is a big leap forward. So can it be true? We want to see how this new line performs in the hands of our members and everyday golfers.

Incredible opportunity! I’ve had my TSR3 for a little over a year now and absolutely love it, to the point I can’t believe it could possibly get better, but would love to find out.

Ive also been waiting for the new GT Fairway metals so I could finally upgrade my Sim TI 3/5 woods, so would love the chance to do so and provide a review.

Tried the virtual fitting and site was blown up by your Dream Set request.  Went back today and tried again.

was surprised it told me that X-Stiff was the way to go for a 94mph swing speed?   But here’s the Dream Club of choice.

In the past year, I've changed from Call away to Titlist except for driver.  I'm currently playing the TSR2 3 wood and hybrids and T-200 irons.  I've been looking at the TSR2 Driver, but would love to test the GT3 Driver.

I am salivating over this new Titleist lineup.  I have been playing a TSi3 9 degree that I love.  That being said I do mishit it from time to time and think a little more forgiveness from the GT2 would be great.  And it's time for an upgrade from my Cleveland Launcher Comp 3 wood.  It's been great but its time to put it on the shelf.

Currently playing the TSR1 driver and love it.  Would like to see how I get along with the new GT2 driver and fairway.  Upgrade from my old Mavrik FW.

Been waiting on the release of the GT’s.  Looking to purchase a Driver and fairway metal, probably a 18 degree one.

I would love to be selected to showcase these   Thanks Titlelist and MGS for the opportunity.

This is a great opportunity, thank you MGS.  It would be great benefit to see the differences in my fairly new TSR2 and the new GT lineup.

Love my TSR4 I am currently using but seeing great reviews of the new GT line up. Currently using TSR 2 fairway and hybrid but find them a bit spinny. New GT lineup is supposed to fix that I believe so I look forward to testing these against current gamers

I got fir for a ping g430 9 degree in graphite design iz5 stiff, which never came. After 2 months I just got sick of waiting and bought a smoke max 10.5 in tensei blue stiff 55.

But my swing speed is up, working on strength and almost bought this gt2 or 3 last week but fitting was rescheduled.

I'll definitely be putting the rounds in. 130 rounds in 15 months, track with arccos and decade. Would loooovee to see how this helps me.
