  1. I’m typically an Under Armor polo guy since I am on the taller and broader side of the spectrum and their polos fit great for me so I would be excited to see how those hats go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’ll keep my eye out for those as well! I unfortunately think I have a big & tall head [emoji23] if I find a hat that fits ok size wise, it usually not tall enough. If I find a hat that’s tall enough, it’s pretty tight on my head. Maybe it’s because of this thread but it seems like more companies are starting to offer the larger sized hats. 3. I'm going down the road you are as well as far as hair goes but I know I can't pull off bald
  4. I wish I liked flat brimmed hats since there are some nice ones that I've found but overall they just aren't my style.
  5. Nice! I haven't played at either of those. Closest course I've probably been to you is Rum River. I'm just north of the metro in Forest Lake but most play at Bunker since I'm loosely apart of a Thursday night league there. I should have taken advantage of this winter and tried to get out but never got the chance to.
  6. Since we had a pretty nice winter, did you get out to any of the courses that stayed open but are probably closed now that we got all that snow overnight? I feel like either head sizes are getting bigger, or there is just more visibility on the subject so more companies are "trying" to start to offer the larger sizes. We are probably just at the beginning of it which is why stock is hard to find or prices are so high. I like that Melin has a limited lineup now of golf oriented hats. Hopefully they can expand on it with more colors and logos. Like I said before, I really like my Mammoth hat, but for a few extra bucks there is Melin.
  7. That looks like it can be a good site. Looks like they have a good selection of different patches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Interesting! Ill have to look out for that one as well. Does it fit pretty well? By rough measurements, I'm sitting at about 7 3/4 - 7 7/8.
  9. Yeah it honestly took me about a month to pull the trigger on buying the Mammoth Headwear hat, my first big head hat, and that was about $60-$65 after tax and shipping. It's just crazy to me how expensive hats can be.
  10. Good to know! Thanks for the insight. I always like to know if I'm going to spend that much on something if its going to be worth it or not so I'm glad you like yours and its held up.
  11. The Odyssey and A-Game are what I was looking at since I prefer a rounded bill over a flat. How has it held up? Would you buy one again?
  12. Ill definitely check out Puma as well! All of my snapback hats are on the 2nd to last snap and that's solely because having it on that last, single snap does absolutely nothing and usually unsnaps and looks weird. So I've stuck with the 2 snaps but at that point they look smaller on me and are a tighter fit.
  13. I'm in the same camp. I have a few flexfit hats that sit where I want but like you said, I also get headaches and cant wear them for too long. Everything is always in the L/XL and I would just need that extra size up to be better but good luck finding those.
  14. Ill have to keep my eye out for one and see how they fit. Thanks for the recommendation!
  15. That makes more sense . I was going to say, if his head is already that big at 2, I cant imagine what it would be when he gets older. If I've learned anything from my friends and their kids (mine is only 9 months so not me yet), its that kids will prefer their parents stuff over theirs (hats, food, accessories, etc).
  16. 2 years old and already rocking adult sized hats?! You're going to need a separate savings account just to save for hats for him at this rate
  17. Is anyone else in the same club I'm in where it's tough to find hats due to your large noggin? If so, what brands have you found that work for you? I have a ton of hats at home but unfortunately they don't fit right so I never wear them. I recently did buy a hat from Mammoth Headwear and that hat fits great that it got me excited to find more hats, especially with summer golf coming up. I've also seen Melin has XL sizing on select hats so I'll probably get a few from them in the future as well.
  18. I’ll be honest, I was hit or miss initially with my 004 putter. I have since swapped the grip to a Garsen Quad Tour and changed the weights to the dual 20g and I love this putter now. I’m glad the testing has worked out well for everyone else in this thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Congrats to the testers! Hit em well and excited to see your reviews and how they work out for you.
  20. How would you say "forgiveness" or ease of hitting is on the 286 compared to the JB? I have the JBFG in 56* that I want to use for 80 yards in and am just getting the hang of on fuller shots like that but I have been thinking of the 286 for next wedge instead (if I don't do like a CB wedge). Maybe instead ill use the JBFG for the closer, more finesse shots and then get a 286 or CB for the more fuller shots.
  21. For me, its place specific. There's a sim close to my house that requires you to use the plastic pyramid looking tees and I've never been able to hit with those reliably. There's another course slightly further that has a Trackman but you can use your own tees and I hit just fine there. Both are pretty much the same size wise but for me I think its the tees (or at least that's what I blame it on to make myself feel better).
  22. There's a lot of golf balls out there that I would like to try to see what is best for me. I have a sleeve of the 2023 Pro V1x and 2023 Mizuno RB Tour X that I was trying out last last season on the chipping green but wasn't able to get a round in with them so those will be first on this trial list this year. Maxfli is looking to be another one i want to try this year as well. Probably going to try the tour and tour x.
  23. Have a family trip coming up at the end of the month here and was hoping to get a round in. Anyone have any experience golfing in this area? In my initial search everything looks to be ranging from $200-$300/pp. I'm not opposed to paying that if the course is worth it but wondering everyone else's experience here or potentially hidden gems or cheaper but nice courses. Thanks in advanced!
  24. One day ill be more organized. Until then ill be following this and taking notes
  25. These are really nice looking wedges. CB wedges are going to replace my current one at some point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
