  1. I use Hole19 on course with my Apple Watch. It works really well.
  2. For me it is trying minimize the big number. So I look at where do I want to miss if I miss. Long or short? Then you have to factor conditions, lie, wind, etc. Also be realistic when evaluating the numbers, especially on the given day you are playing not in your optimal conditions.
  3. I think that the albatrosses is tougher but in terms of the thrill I think the hole in one is best. Most of the time you can't see the green or the ball going into the hole on a par 5 vs everyone standing on the tee box watching the ball go in the hole on a par 3.
  4. Depends on scuffs, but I typically don’t use the same ball for more than one round.
  5. The whole point of the different tees is to allow players of different abilities to play together on a somewhat equal playing field. Same thing with the handicap system. To your point though people have egos, so look for ways to allow everyone to have fun and be competitive. If your shorter hitters are happy with where they are at and not wanting to switch tees than this is a hard change to make. If they are open to it, then I would say divide the group between longer and shorter hitters play the tee appropriate and go. Evaluate the scores over the course of the three weeks and see if there is a big change. Any player that is worth their salt wants to compete on an even playing field so that it keeps the competition exciting. There are all kinds of games and things that you can play to mix shorter hitters with longer ones for added spice.
