  1. As a former CC fitter, I will say it is unfortunate you had that experience. I am in no means defending the company but I just wanted to give my experience working there. It seems to me that it could have just been a poor experience with a specific employee or location. In my training and time there, we were never told to push a given brand and were also told to find the best solution possible and if you were hitting your gamers better than the clubs you were fit for, the sale is secondary. Also, fitters are supposed to check loft and lie on any orders when they come into the studio from the build shop so that lie issue should have been corrected before they even got into your hands. Unfortunately there are some employees that don't do what they should at most jobs and it seems you may have run into that with your experience. My suggestion for anyone, regardless if it's CC or GolfTec or PGA Superstore, if you talk to someone who had a positive fitting experience, don't just ask where they were fit, ask specifically who fit them. You can request specific fitters to ensure your experience is the same as the person who was satisfied with their fit.
  2. Yeah, I think the feedback you've been getting js great and suggest a few range sessions so get that gapping correct between the wedges and the new clubs.
  3. That sounds like the definition of coming over the top but would be happy to offer more feedback after the video is posted.
  4. Yeah, without seeing a video of the swing, anything is speculative but I have a possibility. A lot of golfers, when fighting a fade will be told to bring the club more inside on the backswing, which help you swing more in to out, producing a draw. The problem lies in the transition. If you bring the club too far inside you can come in over the top, which will cause a massive hook. It causes a huge inside swing path with a shut clubface. Smoothing out the transition and focusing on trying to keep the club on plane, can help. Again, just speculative.
  5. Same with DJ for the US side. Probably won't qualify but it would be crazy not to have him on your short list of captains picks
  6. I think waiting them out became too risky. They have more money and the PGA was going to have to keep increasing their payouts to keep their top guys. If they waited too long, LIV could eventually gain traction and then a merger would be impossible. This was best case scenario for the PGA Tour (and LIV) outside of just doing this from the start like they should have.
  7. I get they will now be governed by a sanctioned tour but the approval still needs to be obtained because of the 54 holes and the limited field. The PGA Tour can't just have a par 3 tournament and automatically get OWGR points. The format will have to get approval which should be easier to get with the merger and I agree, I think they will get OWGR points soon if not immediately.
  8. I hope it doesn't get too toxic in here but at the end of the day, this is what it was all supposed to be from the start. A supplemental exhibition league that was a fun change in the norm but didn't interfere with any major PGA Tour events. Jay Monohan created this drama because he was afraid of competition. I know its not fact but I have a feeling this merger is happening so the PGA Tour doesn't have to use their own money anymore to compete and keep players from jumping ship and it's possible the legal battle wasn't leaning in their favor. I'm just curious when this means players from LIV will start competing on tour again and if LIV events will soon earn OWGR points.
  9. I have 4 wedges in the bag. My PW is the one that goes with the iron set which is a 47* Titleist 620 CB. My "gap wedge" is 50* Callaway MD5, and then I have a 56* and 60* in the Callaway Jaws Full Toe. It has been a great difference maker for my short game as I really only use the PW and the 50* for full shots. The 56* I use for anything inside of 75 yards. I really don't hit the 60 full at all as I already play a high ball flight and I feel very comfortable playing the 56* at variable distances.
