  1. Cheers everyone for the advice !
  2. Gday all, Picked up this older Scotty Cameron end of last year (a nice little Facebook marketplace steal) . Simple question does the condition warrant a refurb or is it good to go as is for a putter if it’s age, The Thing still feels like a dream ! cheers
  3. Wow some absolute gems in that collection.
  4. Unreal bag looks tidy , I think I would be divorced if I bought one of these as a surprise haha
  5. Can only be described as winning the lottery but lost the ticket. Started to find some form and place some decent golf then the wheels came off and well that was all she wrote.
  6. Walking the course is very underrated! Nothing better then getting out there for a walk even if it’s zig zagging all over the place . Don’t get me wrong carts have their place to but if I’m choosing one or the other it’s gotta be the walk every time .
  7. Mark Crossfield is my go to for swing and teaching advice also don’t mind the videos with Coach. Good good and Bob does sports also get a fair run for the casual watch feel as if you can just turn it on and pick it up anywhere also good for a laugh. Alex Etches I like for club reviews puts his on personal twist on it all in a quirky way good to watch and gets some good info across .
  8. @Jmuellerm57 That's giving me some hope then! The couple that I flushed felt unreal so pure!
  9. Gday all, 1. Been playing golf since 2018. Handicap at the moment is 18.6 it was as low as 11.6 but having a couple of kids helped it blowout haha . 2. Love that its a game you can play at all ages and getting outside. It can be anything you want it to be a fun social round with the boys on the sauce or competitive serious affair. 3. Always been a fan of the MyGolfSpy reviews and the material to help choose clubs and balls to use. Have mates that use MGS content but none that have joined up. What bring me to MGS is i want more from my golf and being able to contribute where i can to the community is some thing i can do. 4. From Newcastle , Australia home course is Easts Golf Club 5. Best - Plenty of courses around my region and all decently priced, due to climate golf is available every day of the year if your willing to compromise with a little heat and a little cold. Worst- Have had alot of rain recently which is unusual for the area which have made most of the course a bog hole. 5. Tradesman 6. Just a nickname that people have given and i run with it. Cheers
  10. Going to be running the Scotty Cameron Phantom X7 for the foreseeable future. There is something about my old beaten up Studio design that keeps calling me back however , its meant to be not forgiving and I shouldn't be able to putt well with it but in my time of need and I pull it off the shelf its works wonders! Cheers
  11. Just recently coming back from sickness and was looking for a new tool to pump low bullets off the tee. Ended up getting a used Titleist Tmb 716 2 iron in really good shape. Took her out for a test run at the local range and the results are looking promising. Dont get me wrong still hit the flary slice but it was a bullet at chest height .
