  1. I just my new putter! I found it to feel good and rolls the ball well. I made a custom putter cover for it.
  2. Well after my last frustrating round I decided to change my putter and driver. The driver is the new AI smoke max fast. I found out that at 71, I no longer have tour speed swing. I just got the driver yesterday and headed to the range to give it a try in real conditions. I’ll keep you posted.
  3. I know others have it would be ok in extreme temps, hot or cold but I still think in cold weather that the grip, even being aluminum would be cold and not real comfortable. I do love the logo on the butt and would love to have that for a ball marker.
  4. I know that he has been mentioned a lot. But he is closer to my age and I would love to copy his swing, Freddie Couples. What a truly smooth swing!
  5. @Swood1994- your dip looks very good to me. Bowl of chips and the dip in front of me, I’ll be ready for five hours of watching the Masters.
  6. @GolfSpy MPR- that is one awesome snack! Do you do parties, or requests? How about take out? Nice job on putting together a true enjoyable snack for watching the masters. Enjoy this Sunday, should be a good one!
  7. My wife recently gave me the James Patterson book, Miracle at St. Andrews. I was skeptical at first but found the book a good read and highly recommend it.
  8. I have a senior men’s club event coming up on Wednesday so I went to the range and worked through my bag hitting all my clubs ending with the driver. I left feeling good about my ball contact. Unfortunately it didn’t translate to a good game the following day. Very disappointing round. No consistency. I guess I need a lot more practice to get that consistency to happen. Plating a round tomorrow. We will see how that goes.
  9. Thanks guys for the birthday wishes! Hit’em straight!
  10. I love the 14 way dividers. It helps protect my composite shafts. Each club in its place. I can find the club I want and see if I left one back on the green.
  11. I have been lucky enough to test a new club and a new ball for Callaway a couple years back. I enjoyed the opportunity to do it and it resulted in me buying a version of that new club and I switched to that ball for my gamer.
