First round in anger since October. Haven't swung a club since then either. New G20 12* driver is outstanding. It's staying in the bag. As for the score...it's better than last years effort at a...........wait for it 101. Left a lot out on the course including putts, but hopefully the rust has been knocked off a bit and we'll see what happens next Sunday.

Shot a personal best of 87 (43/44) at Paradise Lake in Suffield, OH. My previous best was an 88 at the same course. The only really bad hole today was the par 4 3rd...drove the green and went on to 3 putt for par. All in all, everything thing is moving in the right direction and I'll just sit here and be happy!

Shot 100. Slow play from 7 onwards. I'm going to burn my clubs.

Played like a fool yesterday. A course I've broken 90 on before, I was lucky I broke 100. I couldn't putt to save my life, which is weird since I average 1.84 putts per round. I was lifting on a lot of shots, so tops were the flavour of the day. On the plus side, I've been test driving my playing partners i15 driver with the Ping TFC regular shaft in it and have been hitting that well, so he swapped it for my G5 driver which he likes. Matt

Played like a wounded duck! Shot a 106 that on paper, is easier than the course I shot a 93 on last week. At least my putting was consistent!! I may have to buy a jag hook and some fishing line to keep my head down.

Played yesterday at Fox Den in Stow, Ohio. Shot a 93, which I'm not disappointed in...I got my irons dialed in fairly well as the round progressed, but I need to keep my head down with my driver and hybrids. All in all, not a bad day.

Shot a crowd pleasing 98 at Brookledge Golf Club, a public course owned by the city of Cuyahoga Falls. I wasn't too terribly disappointed with that being the first time out this year. I worked out something with my driver after about 12 holes and started hitting it better, my new hybrids I like, despite no having the opportunity to use them much, irons were good, especially from 100 and in, my putting on the other hand sucked big time. 40 putts with a 5 putt...who the f$%# 5 putts??? The greens had to be running a 10 and this course like them fast, so they'll be 11.5 or so come mid season. Time to work on the flat stick.
