Yesterday morning when I left for work it was 8° with a real feel of -11°. This morning it's 9° with a real feel of 7°. This place sucks.

Just placed my order to Golfworks for 7 Recoil 680 shafts. Getting them to tip and butt prep them for me. Also go some reshafting supplies...apparently I'll have everything for the weekend.

The balls, I'm not spending a fortune on a top level ball. The tees, they just don't break and their customer service is top notch. The wedges match the gaping in my club set, which I'm a bit anal about.

Those Caddy Daddy bags get great reviews on Amazon, pair it with an extender and they're apparently really really good.

Finally got out with my regular partner yesterday after his forced year long layoff for colon cancer. We played the back 9 at Oak Knolls in Kent. Shot a 45, which could have been better without a couple of penalties and 3 putts. Shot of the day for me was on 16. Still working on driver and just hit it horribly off the tee, going right until it hit a limb and knocked it straight down. Step in 3 wood...line up and just nutted it, 262 yards onto the fairway. New Recoil 680 shafts for my irons and hybrids. I hit them on Saturday down at Golfworks with Theoo...172 yards for a 7 iron on their Foresight monitor, now to rustle up the cash and get them ordered.

I was sitting on a 34 going into the eighth hole when we got rained out. Driver is struggling but I managed to get a penalty off one tee using my 3 wood...240 yards into a creek. Theoo of course was over with his driver, but 240+ 3 wood, that things a beast!

What's this practice you speak of and where do you get some?

Shot an atrocious 103 at Tam O Shanter. But, I haven't touched a club in 2 months...had fun with the guys I played with, so there's that.
