  1. How's the weather there Peaksy? Mum said it was still warm in Sydney a week or two ago.
  2. Even I can't miss a fairway that big!
  3. Something like it, but tastes way worse.
  4. Sounds like you had a good thing going with the misses until your arm fell off. I'm drinking to forget my round today...abysmal, even with 4 straight pars on the back 9.
  5. Oh yeah, CTS-V...wagon FTW. How embarrassing to be smoked by this:
  6. Fair enough...just another thought. Chevy SS. 4 door, looks plain, big boot and easily upgradable 400HP on tap...but, it's an Aussie.
  7. If you don't mind used...911, there is no substitute!
  8. So, you're playing Saturday at this stage right? Should be 68 ° here, so, I'll be scouting out a course to play.
  9. Thank you mate...you never ever know. This could actually make me get to the course early and warm up!
  10. Thank you to MGS and Swing Click for the opportunity to test this product. I'll start by saying that I don't practice anything golf, between two jobs and working around the house I simply don't have time...but when I'm testing something, late nights are a norm. I have the Tour Tempo app on my phone and have used it a few times just mucking around the house and thought that it was pretty cool being able to choose the tempo of your swing. This is where Swing Click differs, in that it seems as though it's a set tempo, too fast and you have to pause at the top of your swing to hear the click and you'll hear the click before you strike the ball. Or, you won't hear any clicks at all. It's all about smoooth. I did have a bit of trouble with it the first time out of the gate because I tend to only take a 3/4 swing and had to swivel the "clicker" to suit where vertical would be. But having swung more with it, I've got it set where the website says and all seems well. If I have any complaints about it, it's the lack of instructions. There's four steps on the box, but to get more comprehensive instructions including 3/4 and chipping swings, you have to go to the website. If you use a smartphone (aside from my FIL, who doesn't?) there's a nifty QR code on the box to scan, that will take you to their YouTube video. MSRP is $29.99 but it can be had on Amazon for a hair under $25 with Prime shipping. It's a simple device and for someone like me, after some work and continuous use, I can really see the benefit of practicing with it. This one I'm keeping in my bag.
  11. Still a 16.4. Hopefully that will come down some more this year. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  12. No research but, my Driver is a Ping G20, obviously over 2 years old, in fact, it's closer to 5+ years old and there's nothing wrong with it...won't stop me from buying a new one though.
  13. No way. I'm a bargain hunter for the most part and bought my last pair of True's for about $70 when they were on sale. Having said that, I'm seriously considering the new True Elements Hybrids for $120.
  14. Played at San Carlos, Fort Myers again today. Shot better than last week and better than last year with an 89. http://https://www.golfpadgps.com/round/RBWM6G#1 Hit a monster wind assisted drive of 280 on one hole, but with the wind in your face it was at least 1 to 2 clubs longer, which sucked. And, I've finally realised a dream...beat my father-in-law by 3 strokes. He was not having a good day!
  15. I hope today was a rust knock off day. On the range, I could do no wrong...on the course, everything left me. Shot a 97 at San Carlos in Estero, FL. https://www.golfpadgps.com/round/RHG25N#1 But, I had 29 putts, so I've got that going for me.
  16. 2 more days and I'll be landing in that 80's! Hopefully my scores will follow suit.
  17. Nice mistake to have! Now, did you do all of the neighbours as well?
  18. Someone on your street actually has a front end loader?
  19. Nice one Foz. If we get together in March, don't beat me up too bad!
