  1. I like to shoot for at least an hour before. I like to warm up with a half bag of balls, then I pitch and chip the other half. Then putt until tee off. Yesterday I went to my grandson's school play and got to the course just in time to stretch and drive. It basically took me nine holes to warm up and shoot +10 (front nine). I quietly promised myself I wouldn’t do that again.
  2. Looking to start walking and am somewhat sad that I didn’t get selected for testing but can’t wait to see how this cart works out for testers.
  3. If Sheffler wins today and takes off next week, he would be hard NOT to pick. Clark and Schafflee would have to be my other picks. LIV, Id pick Rahm for b2b wins.
  4. Thanks guys! Going to stop watching all of the videos now and really focus on the little things.
  5. After watching me warm up, he mentioned that there were three glaring things for us to work on. They are grip, posture and setup. Within 5 shots I had stopped chuncking huge divots and was very effortlessly blasting my 7i straight and long. Amazing! I’ve some drills that I’ll keep working on until our next lesson. I was very pleased with my pro Michael Brisbane.
  6. I used to play a lot! I joined a CC and was just an above average hacker though. Playing was all about not loosing too much money and too many balls! I took lessons from our club pro and got my handicap down to about an 11 or 12. Thanks Bobby Hall PGA pro! Life changed direction for us and I put golf on the way-back burner except for charity tournaments once or twice a year. Scroll life ahead 20 years and early retirement left me feeling the itch to play again. I’ve gotten decent but still looking for more out of myself. So, I’m a little nervous as I have my first lesson today (with a PGA pro) since the 90’s. Current HCI 14.2. Low HCI 12.6 at the end of last fall. Lessons objective is better contact with my irons, short game improvement and help with my course management skills. If it’s okay with admin, I’ll post about my progress periodically over my first three lessons.
  7. My short game needs some magic. If Martin Chuck wasn’t presenting this I’d have just kept on scrolling but I’ll be curious to see the results if someone does their own research with it.
  8. Curious if anyone has tried this wedge? https://www.performancegolf.com/one-wedge/facebook/video-sc?utm_source=facebook-ecomm&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=ks-tow-facebook-ecomm-purchase-ABO%2Bcreativetesting%2Blpdr&utm_content=120207232003040760&adid=120207232003040760&h_ad_id=120207232003040760&utm_term=120207232003180760&fbclid=IwAR0whdL-Hk6j_GlCmk5YbpEgAkRfKnnel2mpUrw5MsGayBZviXe2WWeydOk_aem_AU7_CiWb6QE0AGZ3I33UKb-EUp6AHJJP5TqNh8ZbyoDPpwGm8q4OuCeVnVWbVIbX1byXjecmkRsAwHgajslEFQnH
  9. You are right! I looked on the box and they are 2021. I spoke with our pro about and she is ordering a case of 2024 TP5x.
  10. I used this ball today for 9 holes. Never hit or even came close to a cart path or tree. Two big scuff marks. Maybe I’m rough on golf balls??
  11. Looking at going to stiff shafts in my Ping 425 Max driver and 3 fairway. I’ve got 55Gr. Reg flex now in driver and 65Gr. In 3 fairway. Any suggestions on shaft weight and manufacturer appreciated. HI 13.3
  12. Congrats! I’m looking forward to seeing the results.
