  1. OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY! Too bad its not 4/20 cause the Smoke has showed up… Inappropriate? To much?! I didn't get a cool shot of it on the porch because the wife took the Ai Smoke Max D in the house She as excited as I am I think
  2. Always go off the face angle for alignment but I like something to reference my grip itself and marks on the grip are perfect for that and repeatability. That's what golf is all about right?
  3. I'm just going to throw out my opinion on this 1 being I'm unsure of what you like as grips really are just a personal preference and heading to a gold shop just to try all of the different style is well worth it I began using Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsize Plus4's about 3 months ago and I loved them. I wish they had a little better of an alignment aid but I've learned to use what is given. They really help when having to choke down on the club.
  4. Recently got the case of the slices off the Tee with driver that have been worse than EVER! So I began to carry 12 balls of misc brand and condition until I clean that back up. Usually I limit myself to 6 of the same brand as I finds it helps me ensure I stay in play and not just "full send" every shot.
  5. Without making this to long of a story... My FIRST Driver was a Callaway FT9. I say first as I've had it for around 10 years (dads hand me down & driving range fun) and started with it when I began to take golf more serious last year. I decided to upgrade rather quickly because of technology to a Cobra LTDx MAX (strictly based on reviews I've read). That lasted all of 2 months as I just could not hit it well... Then changed to my current gamer which is a PING G425 MAX. I love the PING but it does lack some distance & feel for me. I recently tried a Stealth 2+ and I believe I don't have the swing speed for that model to work as intended but I enjoy it using it. I have always LOVED Callaway but about the only Bias I have is the confidence in my current gamer because well I know it. I'm coming into this test hoping to be surprised by the distance and forgiveness of the Callaway while keeping the "feel" of a club that gives me honest feedback.
  6. What a morning it has been thus far! But all in all it could be way worse so still thankful with my cup of coffee and little peace and quiet. Gearing up to travel to GA for the weekend to purchase a new vehicle... Which on that note does anyone know if Augusta does tours as ill be in the area... On another note has anyone experience the new full page/screen ad? Your suppose to be able to scroll by it but mine cover up the part of the page I was on and don't move so that's a pain
  7. Range session and adjust all the way 1 way and also try the draw setting. I will say most drivers when you adjust down you also open the face so ball flight might also change a little direction. Based on your 11 handicap I believe you'll be fine to adjust back to what you need
  8. Well don't believe I make enough club head speed for this club to work for me honestly. Tried changing some weights around and just doesnt work well for me. Debating on what to do with it. Might see if I can find someone who has a STD Stealth2 to trade or another Model/Brand to try. Sorry have an addiction with trying new clubs lol
  9. Well from an average high handicap golfer I live high heel to center face so this will be a very interesting test to see if there claims can be backed up! Lots of Bushnell data incoming haha
  10. Recently found something out with my BLP unit and how it is setup... I use yellow, orange, red, or pink "highlighter" colored balls that I find on the course in my sim most of the time. Most every shots picks up minus the random misread/no-read I decided to do some comparisons on spin and smash factor with the ball I play on course and get tons of misreads with any white balls... Wondering if this is because my fridge(white) is basically right in the hitting area behind me and of course the walls are white behind it also...
  11. Gearing up for the test! Ordered a weight kit to test out some variables
  12. I would say borrow a friends, hit some stores for used clubs, and try them all before buying. My bag is all different brands but I hit each 1 of them well for whatever reason. My PING 3 wood was not as good as my TM Stealth 2+ for me. But my PING Hybrids are amazing for me. Try them all and enjoy the journey
  13. So is anyone looking for specific results form this test? Wondering what everyone thoughts are Don't we all! haha
  14. I've tried a instructor who was $30/hr in his garage with SkyTrak and retractable screen & $100/hr with full facility & Trackman. The biggest thing is making sure they are knowledgeable and willing to work with you and your limitations. I personally enjoyed learning what to look for in a swing & what change create what in a swing so I can then work and build my swing myself. You being an 11HCP, I'm guessing (my opinion) most fundamentals are there so smaller fine tweaks and possibly breaking bad habits to keep consistency.
  15. Congrats to all testers! Cant wait to hear your thoughts and read the stories as you put this thru its paces.
