We play music at a reasonable sound level. We always ask others if it bothers them . I never understood why it would bother people, you get people noise, mowers, jets and traffic on most golf courses and you play through that

Going to start walking courses instead of riding - Any advice?
ParGuy replied to brogies's topic in General Q&A
I love walking. Best advice is to get a power caddy. I have an MGI Navigator with remote. I play on a very hilly course and it is great . I can carry lots of water and snacks in the pouch . Easy fold up if you don’t have club storage at your club . Try a push cart first to see if it works for you . Enjoy the walk . The only issue that I ever have is when the other 3 in my group rush past me in their carts -

My wife and I are members at a golf course that is 102 years old. Our #8 is a par 3, as far as we know we are the only couple to have hole in ones on this hole. Oh what a thrill

At age 67 I can’t get too much longer so short game is my money for sure

Very impressive results . Most pros tell me short game , short game, the first thing to go because it is a feel thing. We used to go to Arizona for one week, I now retired and have a home in AZ

Thanks for sharing this. That is why he is #1 We all need to learn from this

Thanks for that drill It makes a lot of sense I never heard of the flat balls either . I will have to try them

Short Game, short game This is what 2 hours of practice did for me . 3 balls when in the hole. A bit different result on course that day but progress. The day before I had a lesson with Ronnie Black PGA pro

It was a fitting .No the pro did not recommend a shaft . He really gets paid to sell drivers and was pushing the Ping driver . Now I am looking for a place to test shafts with my current driver. I am waiting to continue to work on my swing

LA few weeks ago I had a driver fitting at Omni Tucson National. All outdoors with a pro. Curious to test some new driver. My current driver is a Taylormade Stealth, I tested the new Taylormade, Calloway and 2 Ping drivers. I hit the Ping G430 Max the best and most consistent. I really did not care for any of the 10K drivers for some reason . I never thought I would even consider the Ping. The pro did say that if I kept my current driver I should switch to a regular shaft . I checked this out and some shafts are more than a new driver
