I've been watching Rick Shiels' YouTube videos to fix my slice, and after spending a lot of time on the range, I've noticed an improvement. Although it still pops up occasionally, I managed to lower my scores from 110+ to high 90s over the last season. This is a result of working on my driver and trying to improve my iron striking.

I just bought 4 dozen Taylormade Rocketballz for the season, and a new towel to go along with my new clubs I upgraded over the winter. I've been thinking about buying the new Taylormade Mini burner to give me another option at the top end of my bag. My current driver is at 9 degrees and my 3 W is at 16, so the mini driver at 12.5 would give me another option.

My partner and I went out last night for the first time of the year in Peterborough, ON. We played one of the few open courses and had a great time. It was only her second time playing golf, but we walked and played a really good round. With a few mulligans, she managed to shoot a 51, and I shot a 48.

I recently purchased new golf clubs, including a Cobra Speedzone Xtreme Driver, Cobra Air X 3W and 5W, Cobra King Speedzone Irons 5-PW GW, and Cobra Pur-S 52 and 56. The only club that I haven't replaced in my bag is my putter, an Adams Golf Tight Lies. I love the weight and feel of this putter, and I don't see any reason to switch it out unless I happen to win a Scotty. And over the holidays my fiancée bought me the OGIO Woode 8 golf bag. Hopefully, the courses start to open up here in Ontario, Canada. I'm looking forward to getting some rounds in.
