  1. My dram putter would be the one Rodney Dangerfield used in Caddy Shack. The next one I would like to get my hands on it a Ping Asner Jas W Ti
  2. I can confidently hit my 4 iron 160 yards, so I am guessing my 5 iron would be my 150 yard club. I haven't been out on the course that much to accurately say this is fact
  3. I would like to get a set of Ping irons to complete my set, but I am afraid I won't hit them as well as I am with my Maltby KE 4 Max irons
  4. Same if I hadn't shelled out the cash for the Max in December I would seriously consider this, especially after everything I have read about it
  5. Back in December I attended a driver fitting where I was able to try out a Callaway Paradym, a Cobra AeroJet, and Ping G430 Max and LST. After hitting a few balls with each driver with a different combination of shafts and settings the Ping G430 Max was the one that felt best to me and gave me the best numbers. What I was fitted to is Ping G430 Max 9° Project X HZRDUS Red RDX 60G 5.5 shaft and Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Grip with the weight set to Draw and the hosel set to the little plus. Before I attended the fitting I had also bought a Maltby KE4 TC Max Driver Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Black HPB 60R Shaft and Lamkin ST Grip. I have been spending the last couple months taking these two out to the course on alternate trips to see which one works out better for me. So far I seem to hit the Ping straighter more consistently than the Maltby, I was also able smash a 234 yard drive with the Ping over the weekend, which is an excellent distance for me. Here are the Trackman numbers for the Ping G430 Max Club Speed Smash Fac. Ball Speed Attack Ang. Launch Ang. Spin Rate Carry Total Dyn. Loft Club Path Average 83.2 1.45 120.5 3.41 3.7 2591 158.6 190.3 15.6 -2.0 Aero Jet Numbers Average 84.4 1.46 123.4 4.11 4.0 2655 177.3 206.1 15.8 -2.3 Paradym Numbers Average 84.0 1.44 120.5 2.81 4.1 3166 168.3 194.6 16.7 -2.6 I am still going to play around or two with the Maltby just to be sure the consistency I am seeing with the Ping is because of the Ping and not a change in my swing.
  6. I have played Pequot, Shennecossett, Mohegan Sun, Lake of Isles, Winnapaug, and Goose (Poop) Run
  7. Hey everyone I am not new to golf but back to playing again after retiring from the Submarine service I started playing golf with a friend's Dad back in the early 90s. My normal score right now is around 120 with a Handicap of 50 I enjoy playing golf because it is an excuse to get me out of the house and spend time outside I have been reading the website for a few months I had found it searching about information on a new driver or something else golf related. I don't think I know anyone here I live in CT and I don't have a home course yet since there are so many courses around me I have yet to play The best part is the number of courses within an hour drive from my house, the worst part is its cold from December to April I test and configure new computer networks My user name is just my name
