I've played in those groups and I offered to get out, hit my shot and walk back to the cart or toward the green and they said, "No, I'll wait." NO. DON'T WAIT. I've offered to rake the bunker after they hit too.

My home course has rakes in each cart however when I played in NH and NJ each bunker has 3 or more rakes and when I used the rake I tried to place them evenly spaced. Irked me when a rake was used and placed on top of another rake. While I'm pissed, sunflower shells spit on the green and beer/sodas cans littering the course when every damn tee has a bin.

I will never shoot my age unless I tee off from the red tees. It took me 45 years to shoot 76 this year but I'm only 69. I'll have to be satisfied w my 3 aces and bowling 289.

It's a bit early in the season. Try southern NH , Owl's Nest in Campton, About an hour from N Conway. Canterbury Woods ( my old home course before moving south) Lochmere in Tilton or Ridgewood in Moultonborough. Bald Peak is an awesome course if you can weasel your way on as it is very private.

I miss NH golf. Since I moved to Ocala Florida, I miss Canterbury Woods and Pembroke Pines.

My goal is to reduce my suckage . My irons are not my friend anymore. Also living in Florida (yuck) for 2 years I need to adapt to Bermuda which is confounding. Also as I'm aging my 150 club from 10 years ago is now my 130 but my pride fights the trend. I was told by a 90 year old who was a club champ to swing smoothly w more club. Doing the right thing is so damn hard.

Fauda but it's too real . Also Babylon Berlin taking place in pre Nazi Germany where Weimars , Bolsheviks and Nazis are jockeying for power during the roaring 20s. Superb production values and a great backstory where the main characters are a detective who is trying to root out corruption as well as a dance hall girl who gets a job w the cops and years to be a detective.
