  1. Shot the exact same score as last week, 78. Whispering ridge in Brooklin Ontario. Great day over all. played with a friend who's round was his first in two years, so I was more concerned with helping him find lost balls than my own. Which was fine because I'm a pretty fast golfer. I wanted to keep pace and as it was, I found a ton of other decent balls. I mashed this drive in the image attached, wind at my back but outdrove the fairway which was new. Lots of great shots, happy overall, but my putter let me down today.
  2. Seen it, love it, great job on the PB!
  3. I started off this year trying the Wilson Triad, as per a suggestion from the My Golf Spy Ball test for medium swing speeds. They we ok, great on approaches and around the green, but not the longest ball off the tee. I've tried a bunch of premium balls recently like chrome soft x and Pro V1x, both felt amazing off the tee. But I struggle with spending that much money when I'm still gonna lose some to the tree gods. I bought a few dozen vice balls on sale during Prime Day from Amazon, Vice Pro Soft and Vice Drive (2 piece ball) I'm into the Pro soft, It feels great, It looks rad (I got this pale blueish one), and I holed out on the 18th from 35 yards the first round I used it. If that isn't a sign, I don't know what is. The Vice Drive was 1/3rd the price of the Pro Soft, Its a 2 piece , softer ball (I think, at least felt softer) with a cover that can withstand 2 bunker shots and hitting a cart path, lol and it was still in great shape! I really like this one as well. My average drives are usually 245-250, but I was smooshing these 260 consistently. So as for my pursuit for the perfect ball continues, I will be enjoy these vice balls for awhile and even confidently try some more from there line-up. Here's a photo pf my dog Murphy appreciating the Vice Pro soft.
  4. Awesome round, that must feel good.
  5. Played Muskoka Highlands today, kinda rainy. Felt like the drives were singing with fairway finders. Hit a 278 yrd drive which was nuts, but the wind gusts were insane and affecting my approaches. Thats my best round at this course and overall very happy with the result. Putts were lights out, like you wouldn't believe me if i told you the stuff (*stuff* was originally a swear) i was sinking.
  6. Amazing round! I have had some good rounds lately, and all i can think about is... when's this ride gonna end? Am I suddenly better than my friends permanently?
  7. Awesome! Looks great and doesn't take up a ton space.
  8. WOW, what a finish! I didn't see that coming, but I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that Scottie claimed the gold. Fleetwood just go nervy on 17 and didn't have the mental fortitude to get it done. What a shame, but also what a strong day from Tommy.
  9. I can't wait, I've wanted one of these since I heard them talking them up on a podcast recently. Looking forward to reading all your opinions!
  10. Played The Rock today before the rain hit, super humid. I was so hot and grumpy. Shot an 87*. The asterisk represents my mulligan due to a distraction and I pull hooked the crap out of a dog leg left. I had aimed left to fade the ball over a bunker but pulled it soon as the people behind us showed up right beside me. Oops. My arccos app showed me a killer shot reminder once we finished. Made my day!
  11. Played 9 holes yesterday, shot +3, but thats not the best part. Check this out.We were able to have our dog tag along. Muskoka Highlands near Bracebridge, Ontario. This course is unique in the fact they allow dogs to roam around. It was so much fun. Going into this i thought it would be a nightmare. I envisioned an overly-excited pup, zipping around and getting in the way. But he just chilled out, usually trying to find shade, and when it was time to move on he would hop in the cart and drink some water. So much fun.
  12. This is great insight, thanks! Took me a minute to decipher the chart, but it was awesome to see the real data comparison. I meant to quote @Dcfrench3's post but forgot to add it, whoops
