  1. 1. What will the Cut Number Will Be +2 2. What will the scoring average be for the entire field on the Final Round Sunday? 73.4
  2. To those familiar with Titleist's new product rollouts from the past, when would be the best time to buy discounted versions of the TSR drivers and fairway woods? They are already discounted, but will there be even more discounts (without products being out of stock) when the GT line finally drops? I would be looking at the TSR2 driver and TSR2/+ fairway woods. Thanks in advance for your advice/guidance. Take care

  5. I started out my golf journey back in the 90's using a Ping Anser 2 blade that my dad gave me. I continued using that until about 2012 when I purchased a used Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2.6 center shaft putter, which is still in my bag to this day. Lately, wanting to get a little more consistent with my stroke, I have been looking at the Phantom 5s from Scotty Cameron. I have grown to love the center shaft style and want to maintain that while going to an easier to hit mallet.
  6. Back when I was young, dumb and full...needless to say I carried all the way down to a 2 iron. Right now, the longest iron I have is a 4 iron and I believe I will be trading that in for a 7 wood in the very near future. I hit my 5 iron very well so should have it for the foreseeable future, but I imagine that will start to be phased out as I continue to accumulate rings on my tree.

  8. Hi all! How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? My dad put a club in my hand around the age of 5, so pretty much my whole life. I have gone on swings and roundabouts, playing more and less at different points of my life but am currently trying to get a round in weekly. As such, my handicap has been fluctuating but am currently around a 12 and consistently play in the low to mid 80's. What do you love about golf? I love being outdoors and staying active. The variety of course types is also a big thing to keep me coming back for more. Plus, your mind stays engaged while trying to navigate the course as best you can. A bad day on the course is better than any day in the office What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I fist came to MyGolfSpy to read club reviews and that's when I discovered the forum. I've never been a big forum user, but wanted to get involved and see if there might be some chance for meeting new golf people around my area. Where are you from? What is your home course? I just recently moved to Colorado Springs and don't have a home course as of yet. I've played Patty Jewett, Valley Hi, King's Deer in CoS, and Walking Stick down in Pueblo. Looking for a decently maintained course that will not break the budget, if that exists What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best - 300+ days of sunshine a year, Worst - shorter season than I would like What do you do for a living? I'm a Construction Project Manager How’d you pick your user name? Very, very unoriginal - name Would love to meet new people in the area. I can do 9 holes in the evening after work on occasion but would mainly play mornings on the weekends.
  9. I would really like to get back into walking the course on the regular. As the OP said, I feel that I play better when walking. Maybe it is just keeping the body loose and moving. I also think that you can really think through your upcoming shot as you are walking up to it - better course management. The problem I have with walking is that none of my playing partners like to walk.
  10. IN! Cut Line: EVEN Highest PGA Professional: MICHAEL BLOCK Picks: Ludvig Aberg, Colin Morikawa, Sepp Straka, Brooks Koepka, Shane Lowry, Joaquin Niemann
  11. I'm going with Scottie, Rory, Aberg, Xander and Morikawa to all be in or around on the weekend with Aberg getting his first major. Wouldn't be surprised if it was any of them though.
  12. I currently play a GD Tour AD W-60 Stiff shaft that I was not fitted for. I need a new driver and X-stiff shaft as my swing speeds have gone up over the years. Would love to test the new Venus shaft! Have heard great things from friends.
