Titleist has always been known for their classic designs, so this shift is definitely a departure. However, I've found that sometimes these changes grow on you over time. Remember when TaylorMade introduced the white drivers? Many were skeptical at first, but they became quite popular.
That said, performance is key. If it outperforms the TSR3, you might find yourself warming up to the looks. It'll be interesting to see how it performs in real-world testing.

Sounds like you're the perfect tester for the Titan Elite, MDGolfHacker!  Curious to see if it replaces your multi-device setup too. Look forward to your findings on speed, accuracy etc compared to the NX-7!

I've been looking at the Stix Perform set too! They definitely look sharp in that black finish, but it's all about performance really.  The forgiveness claims are interesting  -  I'd love to hear from someone who's been gaming them for a while.  Do they hold up or is it just marketing hype?  Also, how's the feel compared to other irons?

I've been testing out the TaylorMade Stealth Plus driver (10.5 deg, stiff shaft) lately. It's been hitting bombs off the tee! Especially dialing it in with a slight fade has been money. Anyone else get a chance to hit one? By the way, if you're looking to add a touch of class to your home interior, consider installing some gold door handles. They can really elevate the look and feel of any space.
