  1. FInal week of men's league had my best start ever on the back 9. Unfortunately a missed 5 footer on 15 seemed to be the turning point and struggled to finish off and break 40. Overall very happy with the year averaging 42.9 for the year
  2. It is not available for android yet, I messaged them and it should be in the next update!
  3. It is android., they havent released it yet
  4. One of my better rounds of the year, jsut killed by penalty strokes. To be fair this course has a lot of holes with "environmental areas" right off the fairway to its easy to pick up strokes quickly. Putter was on fire to help pick up the slack though, anytime I can go 18 without a 3 putt is a good day for me. Most pars in a round so far this year.
  5. I still haven't gotten those PGA pro shots yet. I have stuck some shots to within 2 feet from over 100 yards out. I am wondering why. My app is up to date. I am on android so maybe that is an issue?
  6. Missed a few rounds but they were terrible anyways so not much to talk about 89 and 91 on back to back days that I just could not get anything going Bounced back with a 42 (+7) at men's league that I missed every fairway off the tee. Last night got to play the front at men's league for the first time in a couple of months due to missing weeks and posted my best score of the year on it. Decided to change up my approach with the driver and really focus on aiming up the left side and letting my ball fade into the fairway. Irons were on fire and putter really let me down again with 2 3 putts and basically a 3rd but it was just on the fringe. All ended up being bogeys. Once again VERY happy with the score but just thinking of what could have been if the putter was working. 3 putt from 12 feet is just unbearable, even if it was straight downhill. Round stats Score - 39 (+2) Fairways - 3/7 GIR - 7/9 Up/Down - 1/2 Avg 1st Putt - 10.8' Total Putts - 14 Birdies - 2 Doubles - 0
  7. Putt out Devil Ball - https://puttout.golf/products/devil-ball I think there may even be some reviews of it on the forum, there is an area that is basically flat so if you don't hit it perfectly square the ball goes off line immediately. It over exaggerates a putt that may actually go somewhat straight on a real ball.
  8. Received my Putt Out Devils Ball and decided to test it out on what I thought was the Pro setting (most difficult), after 5 or 6 perfectly straight putts and thinking i had a perfect putting stroke, I watched a video online and realized I actually had it on the easiest setting. After 5 terrible putts on the pro putting, and realizing my putting stroke is far from perfect, I can't wait to keep using this tool to help my game. Thinking I may need to find a flatter spot in the basement to practise putting as well as I think I may not be perfectly level right now after a room adjustment while cleaning up. Anyone have any tips to finding the best / flattest spot for putting practise? I am thinking just grab every level I have and lay it everywhere in the basement
  9. Got up for an early 6:45 am round this morning, couldn't have been a more perfect day at one of my favorite courses. The course was in great shape and I was mashing driver. Just couldn't finish off some makeable birdie putts. Still a very nice 84 for me but felt the putter let me down. Definitely could have broke 80
  10. Only play 9 holes a week in my men's league and don't always make it out, but I have managed to birdie 9 of the 18 holes in 10 rounds, so actually pretty happy with that
  11. just ordered a puttout devil's ball to include in my ongoing pursuit of being a above average putter, can't wait to see how bad my stroke really is!
  12. multiple times this year i have shot low 40s (9 holes) and had more than half of my shots due to putts. i feel the pain
  13. I finally broke 40 at men's league last night (39 - 9 holes) first time this year after shooting 40 about 3 times, mixed in with a few 47s It was my first time playing that course in a month due to other commitments, felt great, definitely feel like I left a few out there but happy to see my mid-short game being so good Round stats Score - 39 (+4) Fairways - 2/6 GIR - 7/9 Up/Down - 0/2 Avg 1st Putt - 26.4' Total Putts - 18 Birdies - 1 Doubles - 0
  14. been spending a lot of time putting in my basement, starting short and moving back 6 inches everytime i make 3 in a row. In a month, it takes me a lot shorter now than it did before. And seeing improvement on the course as well
  15. I saw a good deal on New Balance Striker V3 a couple of years ago and couldnt believe the support it gave without any additional insoles. I used to get achy feet as well as a sharp pain in my toes due to most shoes not support my foot enough. I will be new balance for life now and just picked up a new pair of New Balance Brightons on sale at Golf Town
