  1. Played in a high school invitational today, shot 88. It's bittersweet. The good thing is it was mainly one bad hole that added 4 strokes and everything else was going good, the course was super tough with fast and firm greens and pin locations were very tricky because of being placed on ridges. I hit every fairway except one and it was like a couple feet off but I birdied it. Plus, everyone else was right around with me so it wasn't too bad.
  2. Got a little practice in before my HS Team's season really starts up. Shot 38 (+2) for the front nine and parred 10, 11, and 12 then had to stop because of darkness. I hit 6/7 fairways because my tee shot on nine hit the fairway and got a nasty kick into a fairway bunker. I hit 8/9 greens and missed the one green by about 10 feet. 20 putts with two 3 putts, couldn't make a birdie at all. The two bogeys I made were the result of the three putts. Overall, I'm happy with that score and hope I can continue that for the season.
  3. I had a feeling they would be, that's too bad since I'm in a need of regripping and Lamkin Cords are what I would go with.
  4. Our team had a scrimmage, didn't count on our record and we didn't do so good (+2, +3, +8, +9, +10 were our top 5). I didn't play well, +9 for 9. My ball striking was horrible but my putting and chipping were good so that's was a plus.
  5. Played last weekend, wasn't too good of a round. My ball striking was good but my putting started sucking and while I had good distance, my accuracy cost me big time. My front nine was horrible and my back nine wasn't too bad but I almost got a hole in one, probably less than a foot on 18.
  6. Played 12 holes today. This is the first round with the new JPX-825 Pros and I also put a Mizuno T-Zoid Pro 2 iron into play and they all performed well but had to get used to new yardages. Driving was very good almost hit every fairway and putting wasn't bad but I missed a couple opportunities.
  7. That's a really nice job on the paintfill, looks like a lot of effort was put into that.
  8. I mark mine with 4 green dots. One above, below, left, and right of the logo.
  9. That would suck to take out of your foot after the round. And that's a good example on not what to do while golfing.
