  1. Does it record all the “duffs”, and then include that infor into the database? For example, say you hit 10 shot with the 7 iron. You pure hit 3 of those 10 shots, to 150 yds. Then say you hit 4 shots a bit chunky, to 120 yds. Then say you duff 3 to 50 yds. Does it take the avg distance of those ten shots, let's say 108 yds, and then when you're 110 yds out, does it recommend you hit your 7 iron?
  2. Shot like crap today, but managed to stay one shot out of the 80's Horrid front- just couldn't ever get going...+7 thru 10 Oh well, can't shoot good every round I guess
  3. Uphill 6 iron to green, left a 60' putt that I drizzled down to a foot away, pin high for par. Meh...just wasn't a good day for me today
  4. 25 putts! That's amazing! I had 28 a few rounds ago which I liked, and then 30 with the new putter, and I putted well. I guess I better get closer to the pin!
  5. Sometimes I'll get to where I'm reaching for the ball, and not hitting it so well... and then I'll remember my last lesson... For me, I've found a lot of success by moving closer to the ball and standing a little taller. That's kind of the gist from a lesson I took last year that got me started on my hot streak. Sometimes a lesson or two can make something click that “puts the dots together”. I'm sure you've heard it over and over in here, but a good teaching pro can sometimes figure out how to get you to understand what he wants you to do. But I've also had lesson sessions that were a waste of time as the pro was mailing it in, and was obviously thinking about something else and didn't seem real interested. There is usually one or two specific “key points” that you'll be able to go back to, because one can never remember every little detail from a lesson... Ok, everyone is giving me the stink eye, so I'll quit pushing the “take a lesson sermon now”...
  6. Wouldn't that 5-7 mph ball speed result in longer drives (if spin is consistent)? If that's true, why isn't KZG dominating the tour, or the long drive contests, or basically a household word amongst all golfers worldwide? And forgive my ignorance about ball speed off the face, as I really don't know how it all works out comparatively between club heads. That just sounds like a lot to my uneducated brain... Cheers!
  7. Is this with the LST or the max? 5mph faster ball speed on average? Wow- that's a lot. I've got to believe the shaft has everything to do with that... Looking forward to hearing if you can close that gap with a different shaft. Cheers!
  8. My shot of the day today, was actually a putt from about 3' off the green, about 45 feet from the flag.up and over down then back up sharply and a hard left turn. Like 5 different directions, which rolled up to about 6” above the flag. I am so loving the new Evnroll er3, which I've named “ Evan Almighty “
  9. Yea- that is BS. I know a guy who keeps telling me to load up a bunch a high scores so we can play tourneys and kick arse. I personally don't find any satisfaction in thrashing someone with a bunch a fake strokes
  10. Shot decent today- 73 with 30 putts First day with the Evnroll er3, which I've named Evan Almighty. Got a 6' and a 10'er to fall for birdies. And made most everything within 5 feet. As the day wore on, and as I got more comfortable, I found Evan getting the ball close every hole. Distance control was really nice I am quite happy with “Evan” already, and my partner was digging it too, although he wouldn't say it out loud. But I could tell as he slapped my ball back to me as I rolled them up to within a foot quite often
  11. Rev, I actually lost a little yardage from my Epic, so you're not alone. But, I really like being in the fairway and swinging an iron at the green next shot. Even when I miss, it's not WAY out there, and I usually have a decent shot in...
  12. The KZG is a better fit for you? Interesting...., but not totally unexpected- I would doubt the Rogue lovers would stray either...
  13. When you already game a G400, reading these reviews seems more fun. You do a lot of uh-huh'n, and yep, that's right. I guess my question is, does anyone NOT bag the G400 after trying them out?
  14. Had a great round today may best shot was probably a 112 yd, uphill, short flag into the wind, so I hit a PW right at the pin and it landed about a foot past the hole, and then backed up to 6”. No, I didn't miss that one...haha
  15. The hot streak continues... 1 over, 71 today, and missed 3 short birdie putts, and, took a very stupid double bogie on a short par 4 when I had a easy 38 yard chip at the hole. Which I chunked, and then skulled the next all the way across the green. Had a very legit shot at a 66 today, which would have been a PB for sure. Irons were nasty good today... even tho the round lasted 4 hours, it seemed like only a half hour, and I wanted to keep playing. But then when I got home, my ER3 was waiting for me in it's shipping box!!!!!
  16. Had a 150 8 iron that I hit pure. I mean 100% pure Know what I mean?
  17. Continued the hot streak and scored really well again, even with a double in the mix. Really crisping the irons.
  18. The feel- not as soft as I was expecting mentally. But again, I only hit a few shots, so one could get used to anything. But remember, I'm a converted mizzey guy. Playing ap2's Now, on graphite, so that probably makes them feel soft too.
  19. One of my friends just got a set of the forged out of the blue. He loves them I hit them a few times- wasn't real impressed... Kind of “clicky”, to me.
  20. Been sick for the last week so I was a bit off today, but managed to salvage a 39/38-77 Played a friendly skins game but ended up losing $.50... haha Realized a swing problem after 14 holes, corrected, and I started hitting some nice solid shots. Really simple... stand closer to the ball and get the feet closer together. Why do we forget things we just ironed out 6 months ago?
  21. Shot like crap for 14 holes then figured it out duhhh Anyways, par 5, strong drive. Then one of the best hit hybrids of my life gave me a 15 footer for eagle that I missed Then last hole I hit a 3 wood 20 yds longer than normal into a fairway bunker 113 out, uphill a bit, behind a tree. Choked up a PW and hit the green, and 2putt par. Good way to end the day
  22. Shot good, a 1-under 69. (White tees tho) Had back to back birds again today, like yesterday. Narrowly missed the bird on the holes befor and after too, so I came close to 3 birds in a row. That's my new goal now...
  23. Birdied 10, then ripped a 7 iron to 5 feet on the par 3 11th. Made the putt! Heehehe
