  12. These are the 5-pw CB'S only and not the pocket cavity, it's a throwback to some Bridgestone j33 CB'S I had, both endo forged if I remember right? It's been a good trip down memory lane Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app

  14. Sadly all my messing around with my driver ended up with me unable to hit one straight again. Had to go back to just 3 wood unfortunately. Got another R15 with same setup as before but not the same Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  15. I have settled into about a club face's length of my left heel and just adjusting width. I'm hitting the ball shorter, but have switched to playing a fade that maybe goes 2-3 yards left to right- so loving the accuracy! The pro that I saw let me know my right heel was really coming forward before impact and with eliminating that I have been the having the most consistant ball striking I have seen since I started playing about 3.5 years ago. its all about the little things sometimes!
  16. I had the same issue on my left shoe, known problem for footjoy they were allowing refunds our sending people spikes. Someone recommend using lock tite, my Adidas adipure's use the pins system too, but I have never lost spikes on those and I've had one pair almost 3 years and have replaced spikes 2 times by choice Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  17. I would like to start by thanking Mygolfspy.com and Golfspy Barbajo for the opportunity to take this little device for a spin. Quick background on me: Fast tempo, Driver swing speed 117mph HCP: Not known at this time- not enough rounds Mostly self taught. a few lessons. Biggest issue is too big of a back swing So this device seems so simple, could it help cure my overly exaggerated back swing. Short answer: Kinda. (Not too distracting as you can see) As others have said this device requires you to have a smooth back swing. That proved very tricky for my full shots as my tempo went from a 2.9:1 to a 3.6: 1 per my Swingbyte 2 device. It resulted in poor shots as you can imagine...Sometimes I would here a click other times not as much. What did seem to help but adjusting it for a shorter back swing. I just couldn't get a long with the driver and the swing click. I won't blame the device because it is a long standing issue, having days where the driver is on fire and irons are so-so and vice versa. Where it helped me immensely was half wedge shots. Oh lord did it help. It set me up to pause a bit at the top, bump my hips and hit little push draws that bit. I don't think I can overstate how much more these improved. Before timing was a bit of an issue. (Very useful for half wedges) I also used it for chipping more so than pitching because I make easier moves to the ball in that regard and this helped improve that aspect as well. The majority of people will complain of the lack of instruction that comes with the box, but i didn't have trouble accessing that info and videos online. Those less tech savvy might be less than impressed with the majority of instruction/ help being online. I would have to say this device represents a great value because you can use it for green side finesse shots, half shots and full swings. If you are someone who wants to have a smooth transition I would highly recommend it. As with anything that changes your swing, have patience! (Full swing power!)
  18. I am interested to see how the m1 430 works. It supposedly is as forgiving as the 460 but with less spin. Sent from my SCH-I545 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  19. The biggest factor I find for me now is the heel. I do not like the traditional C heel, I prefer the U that leaves room for your Achilles. If you where no show socks "traditional heels" aggravate my heel. Another thing I like about these adidas is the insole doesn't wear as fast as other brands and they weren't just some cheap foam.
  20. The only shoe I have bought that I think would justify its 200+ price are the Adidas Adipure 360's that were released in 2014 and 2015. I can wear the black ones with anything And I have tried the following, but nothing compares to their comfort, flexibility, durability and traction, Nike Control I, II, and III Nike TW '14, and '15 Footjoy Icons, DNA, Dryjoy tour, Superlites, Adidas Tour 360 Ecco Bioms, Tour hybrids, True linkswear But if you ask the next guy his list would be different. and as Undershooter said, wait till they drop. I picked up 3 more pairs of the Adipures at 79.99 each
  21. The pro I've been working on has seen no issue with my ball position, posture, etc other than the occasional lack of release. Just experimented and found that it forces me to release and hit down more consistently when the ball is played a consistent distance from my left heel. I just wanted to see what others reason for playing what they do, is. Some do it because of eye dominance, preferred ball flight, physical limitations or other compensations. Definitely not looking to get a fix online. Sent from my SCH-I545 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  22. Interesting reads all around. I hit driver 290s with a fade so I don't mind it, I just find a draw too inconsistent with my driver, especially under pressure. I use a square to closed stance because my hips move better than my chest/arms. Like Arnold Palmer says, "Swing your swing" Sent from my SCH-I545 using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  23. Thank you all for the input! I gues the sean foley article I had read is essentially what hogan did minus opening/ closing the stance in relation to club. This is why I always feel things such as this are a can of worms and everybody is different. As my game is refining I am placing more of an emphasis on accuracy or repeatable variables than distance which was the baine of my first 1.5 years playing. I am looking forward to practicing this evening more with hogans method.
  24. I feel like I am going to open Pandora's box with this one, but here goes. I have been struggling with some swing changes and with contact. I want to know do you guys play the ball of the left heel? or do you change the ball position with the change in club. Reason I ask is I have been playing the ball central for 8-LW, half inch forward for 7-5, etc. down the bag. I have a tendency to get lazy and not release the club and have been guilty of a late flip. I don't have a left/ hook problem- I hit blocks/ pushes particularly. I have been playing the ball about a clubs width off my left heel, which I read in a Sean Foley article and it has really forced me to hit down and through the shot. Just experimenting with it. What is the benefit of one or the other is my question, I now those who play the ball at different position tend to hit draws vs Fade- if memory serves me right. Just trying to get some feedback as to which you prefer/ play and why...
  25. This time of year the club I belong to gets a bit boggy, but this last weekend it dried out a bit, but I should have stayed home. As much as I know warming up helps me shoot low, I rush to the first tee. This ball pretty much sums up the 92 I shot... 78 yards to the green, about a 3/4 Lob wedge- Felt I bladed it a bit? even though it went in the air and landed middle of the green
