  1. Had my first premium Cuban cigar from the Cayman Islands today. What an enjoyable smoke this is. Great construction perfect burn and wonderful taste. Forgive me for drinking the Kool-Aid , but this is one great cigar. I also have some Hoya de Monterrey Deluxe, looking forward to enjoying that cigar next. This may sound bizarre but I enjoy smoking my cigars with root beer.
  2. The Joya Black also is a must try, what do you think?
  3. OLIVA Connecticut Reserve because she said so.
  4. I have read good reviews on this cigar, would you consider this a smooth mild smoke?
  5. I had another RP today, only lasted 10 holes today, the heat and humidity was brutal.
  6. The Texas heat and humidity got to me today, I had to pack it in after 10. I can't take the heat as I could when younger. Dang it.
  7. Rocky Patel Vintage '99 Connecticut

  10. Okay, tonight I smoked two Fuentes, both had a similar profile. Hemingway Short Story and a Chateau Natural, I had a friend recommend while smoking the first with my bourbon, take a few chips of dark chocolate ....let it melt on your tongue, then smoke. It was really nice. Give it a try!
  11. I thought it obvious from the cigars I have purchased so far, my mistake. Mild strength.
  12. After 2 weeks of internet research I have a good idea on the profiles I want in a mild cigar, some good ones ordered and on the way. Tried the NUB today and will scratch it off the list, still favor the Fuentes so far. Looking forward to the Monte Whites and Olivas arriving tomorrow. Setting up the humidors will be fun also. Give me some of you favorite milds if you will. Thanks for the help!
