For what it’s worth to you guys, I’ve owned two sets of Sub70s. I had the 639cb/mb combo and now own the TAIIIs raw. I’ve had Miura, Mizuno, Ping and Wilson irons in the past. These feel as good as the Miura and Mizuno in my opinion. I game 4-pw with vokey wedges. Super happy with Sub70. Happy to answer any questions you may have about them.

Gankas works with a lot of tour players as well as some of the top amateurs in the world. His stats as a teaching pro go way beyond Matt Wolff. The number of champions in his stable is very impressive. He is known for building speed in the swing along with consistency. The novice golf fan most likely has heard of him because of Matt and his unusual swing; however as another poster said before, he’s also worked with Adam Scott. Adam has one of the most beautiful swings in golf. Adam came to him looking for more horsepower as did Padraig Harrington. Paddy is closer to the senior tour than the PGA tour and has gotten back to 120mph swing speed. I’ve studied the swing a lot and I’m biased but do believe that GG will be a very relevant coach for many more years.

Agreed 100%. Fundamentally most teachers are teaching the same baseline ideals. Rotation, compression, extension etc. with slight variations. The importance in self discovery is trying a variety of methods from as many resources as you can. You end up understanding the nuances better as well as what concepts you believe in.

His players absolutely do his leg work as did some of the best in golf like Snead and hogan. The swing moves faster than the eye can see all the subtleties of the leg work. Of course as mentioned before the practice is an exaggeration of the final product but that is to engrain movement patterns. The more you watch and understand his method the more you will appreciate the concepts and actually how “traditional” they really are. They are built for speed and consistency.

I think he will be fine. He is really a great long hitter and good putter. His wedge game is probably the most underdeveloped he has in his bag; however, it’s pretty darn good. Switched from ProV1x to a Vice Pro Plus. Love the ball. Better performance spinning the ball around the greens. My irons seem to be slightly longer when compressed well and no loss off the driver. Highly recommend the Vice. Only drawback is they can scuff really easy. I'll hit a hard spinny wedge and have cuts all over the ball. Only counterbalance is they are such a good deal that I don't min playing one round or so per ball. I usually order 5 dozen at a time and the pricing is around $25 per dozen at that amount. Just got some Vice Pro + balls in today. Also got two graphite shafts and two heads from Golfworks to assemble for my dad. Testing to see if we can get him more distance and control. I've used Rotary Swing. The content is interesting and can keep you engaged. It has helped me develop a better understanding of the golf swing and my faults. The reviews were hit and miss. I really believe it depends on the assigned instructor you get. My guy was out of Australia and turned lessons around quickly; however, he didn't really do a good job and reading my comments and questions. He just gave a critique and moved on. There were a couple of times I needed more direct feedback on my backswing and things I've been working on. I asked him those questions specifically on the video submission and they were ignored. After a couple of times this happened, I called the customer support to inquire about switching to an instructor that is in the Southeast US. My thought was that if he is working on my video swing submissions that I may be able to also augment the training with him in person a couple times per year. They wouldn't switch me even though we have two instructors in the states around me. I was pretty disappointed in that and decided not to renew.
