  1. I agree. I think the 3D space is going to become big. I think the lab putter concept mixed with SIK face once could be deadly regardless of if it is armlock, broomstick, counter weighted, or normal, interested in seeing long down the road if degree of face curvature is an additional thing you get fitted for based on swing speed, and curious to see long down the road if you no longer go in and buy a 9 iron, 8 iron with stock lofts and a lies or if the lofts and lies will be custom to fit you into what a good spin would be for a 9 iron. It opens a lot up but it will be a slow process of having everything released and slowly building a understanding and support to broaden the supply and demand. I dont think this will have for years but it is fun to think about.
  2. While the brand could be Cobra, LAB, LA Golf, Krank, Avoda, or some other unknown brand, I am most excited to see what ever irons and woods/driver that Bryson DeChambeau comes out with. While I know it is unlikely, I have my fingers crossed it will be available in lefty. I know both Krank and LA have that options.
  3. Followed up with cobra and was told: "normal shafts 4-PW. The 8-PW shafts would need to be extended from standard length to the 7 iron length."
  4. Thanks for the advice I will have to try that. The steps in the shaft would be a great idea as well but the shafts are smooth.
  5. Hi Everyone, I have recently bought a set of one length irons (2022 Cobra King Tech). My normal set of irons has 130g shafts, plays D3 swing weight and are X-stiff. The one lengths are stiff, 115g shafts, and play at a D2 swing weight. I need to reshaft the one length clubs and have run into a lot of question here. Are they all a 7iron shaft or do you get shafts meant for AW-4iron and length or shorten at the butt side of the shaft? Thanks for your help in advance. Eventually I do want to make sure I get the one lengths up to D3 or D4 but I think that can be done by adding weight tips in the shafts when I install them. Thanks.
  6. As a lefty Cobra has made this a really easy decision. I would have to go with the King Forged Tec X Irons in a regular steel shaft. This is the only lefty option. That being said, hypothetically if all the ranges were open to lefties I would go with the KING Forged Tec ONE Length Irons for several reasons. 1. My current set of irons are the MP-20 SEL. The lofts of the King Forge Tec irons are close to the MP-20 SEL lofts so there would be less of an adjustment that needs to be made along with the ability to get a ball to sit close to where it lands since they are not loft jacked. 2. You can go up to a 4. I love my irons and if I could I would go all the way to a 2 iron. 3.I feel like the 1025 carbon steel and hollow body design is filled with a lightweight foam give the Cobra Forged Irons the best chance of feeling butter soft on center hit shots along with some feedback and forgives on miss hits. Everyone knows Mizuno irons are at the top for feel when it comes to irons but with this new design I feel like Cobra has caught up and will be able to run with Mizuno for best feeling irons. 4. I would go specifically with the ONE length irons for a few additional reasons. The swing weights are close to what I am currently playing again making an easy transition. The second is 100% personal in the fact that I have been following and copying Bryson to some degree with my clubs. I converted a putter into an arm lock. Shaved some strokes off my game. I got Bryson to respond on you tube to figure out his glove size and recommended jumbo max grip size i should go with. After having those on I have seen an improvement with consistency resulting in again lower scores. I have been on the fence for the longest time about one length and could just not justify paying for a full set of irons just to try them but at this point it is the only thing I haven't tried in Bryson's style and everything else has worked so far, so why not. The one length would also allow me to go to a KBS $ Taper Chrome X-Stiff shaft. Cobra and Bryson....some of use lefties can play with more then game improvement irons, throw us some love!
  7. I live in WI but vacation in Hilton Head every other year. So far out of all of the course I have played down there I agree and would fully recommend Harbor Town even if it is a bit pricy. That being said I have been able to play Whistling Straits up here and between the two if I was going to play one over again....100% the Straits and Whistling Straits. Most of the amenities are very similar but the course are very different but both are great.
  8. I just bought Mizuno MP-20 SEL irons, SM8 wedges, Odyssey double wide stroke lab putter, and getting fitted for a driver, 2iron/driving iron, 3 wood, 5 or 7 wood, and a hybrid tomorrow. No idea what brands I will go with. Trying to go on the data and what gives me the tightest dispersion Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
