2024 Masters Pool Sponsored by Titleist and Vokey Wedges

Like many, I am an golfer without a lot of time to get to the course. Fortunately, I have a Bushnell Launch Pro at my office and can still practice and play simulator rounds often. I am wondering if any of you have or have thought about inputting your simulator rounds into Shot Scope or Arccos. I am a Shot Scope user but only play on an actual course every couple months. I feel that with not much data coming in, the data coming out is not that useful on where to focus my training sessions. I am aware that simulator rounds cannot count towards a golf handicap, but my stats are personal and I'd like to know if my work is getting any results. To do this, I'm thinking I'd just pull up the Shot Scope website and track the round manually as I play it (one of my local courses is in the FSX course library). This seems tedious, but the tracking data certainly won't work with me just hitting from the same spot every time. Additional question: do you think this would be possible with Arccos as well? I'm thinking about switching to Arccos so I could use the AI Caddie feature.

HackMotion Training System - 2023 Forum Review
EZlife007 replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Forum Testing Reviews
The change has been noticeable. My practice has been with an 8-iron and my Bushnell Launch Pro. Here’s a run down of what I am feeling and what the numbers are doing: Feeling: Learned during this that I setup with a strong lead hand and a weak trail hand. I worked to strengthen my trail hand and having a square takeaway. This and the motorcycle drill suggested by the app felt powerful and made my swing feel like it took less effort. Numbers: My club path gradually moved from approximately 2 degrees out-to-in to around zero. My club head speed increased by about 1.5 mph (around 87 mph now). My average carry distance has gone up by 2-3 yards. Angle of attack hasn’t changed much (around 7 degrees) and I’m hoping that will come down as I start to swing more in-to-out. Hackmotion isn’t a magic bullet, but feel like it will get me where I want to be if I continue to put in the work. The immediate feedback from the app has improved my practice sessions for sure. -
HackMotion Training System - 2023 Forum Review

I agree 100% with your comments: “I'd love to be able to flag a shot after hitting it to know if it's one I want to go back and review individually . . . .” I’m a new Hackmotion Core user and love this thing so far. I am limited to only Clubface Control practice and flexion/extension numbers, but knew that going in. After about a week of use with an 8-iron, I went from being about 25-30 degrees too extended at the top and 30% in range at impact to 5-10 degrees too extended at the top and 50% in range at impact. -

Thank you for your work on this everyone. I purchased the Core version after seeing your posts (having also been recommended the unit by my swing coach a year or so ago). Unit arrived quickly and I was able to hit with it in the simulator today. There’s work to do on my end for sure: -

Excited to see the feedback on these. Am I reading the website correctly that the $1k version is required to get radial/ulnar numbers? -
Do you have a different swing with wedges 100 and in?
EZlife007 replied to pma531's topic in General Q&A
I would say yes. Basically, I think of anything less than 115 yards as a pitch. I stand a little closer to the ball with my feet only about two club widths apart and then think of clock face swings like others have mentioned. My 100 yard shot would be a full (ie 10 o'clock in my mind) swing with my 50* wedge (I average 103 carry with this shot). I love this shot because it flights the ball in lower and the ball stops right around its carry number. Andrew Rice has a lot of great chipping and pitching content on YouTube and I try to emulate his methods. -
How many sets of clubs have you owned in your lifetime
EZlife007 replied to Pvicary's topic in General Q&A
Yes, RGA is still there. I don't know how much longer it will be given the development we have going on. The old grass driving range near RGA (where the batting cage scene of Bull Durham was filmed) just closed after being purchased by a developer. -

You all make me feel good about starting to think about a new set. I've owned 3 sets over the last 30 years or so: Titleist DCI oversize+ Mizuno MP14 Mizuno MP52 -
Hello! I've been playing golf for over 30 years (I'm in my 40s). My handicap is 5. I love golf because it is a game that cannot be beat. Golf has been important throughout my life and has opened many doors for me. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina. I do not have a home course. I try to play one round per month and play all over. I practice regularly on the simulator in my office though. Year round golf is the best thing about our region. Dormant Bermuda grass and spring pollen is the worst thing about our region. I am a lawyer. I used my AIM name from college as my username.

I've been playing golf since age eight (summer, 1990). My normal score is around 80. My handicap is in the mid 4s. I'm usually able to put together a couple low rounds a year and that keeps my handicap artificially low in my opinion. I love golf because it is a way for me to escape. Focusing on each shot allows me to forget about things going on off the course. I started reading MGS several years ago for the equipment reviews. I have only met one other Spy. Interestingly enough, I noticed him on the putting green with an Evnroll putter and asked him if he reads MGS. He smiled and said it was what got him to buy the Evnroll. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina. I don't have a home course. I only play 10 to 12 rounds a year, so I play all over: Lonnie Poole, River Ridge, Pinehurst, Tobacco Road. I hit balls in my bonus room almost daily to stay somewhat sharp. Year round golf is what's best in our region. The worst thing seems to be the pace of play. I grew up playing in under 4 hours. Most public courses on the weekend seem to be okay with 5 hour rounds. I am an attorney. User name is my old AIM name from college.
