Trail shoes are awesome for golf, wear them all the time myself. I've never seen a need to buy “spikeless†golf shoes. They are the same as any trail shoe in my opinion and with trail shoes you have more options. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Just wanted to throw this out there as I am curious the cost/benefit of getting fitted for clubs vs just working with a stock set as a higher handicapper(20). Also, does getting fitted benefit your game that much as a higher handicapper or would the money be better used for lessons? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

It all started for me here at my golf spy as I was looking into buying new clubs and was amazed at the wealth on knowledge that was available. I also appreciated the fact that all of the reviews were unbiased as that is hard to come by nowadays. The equipment reviews led me to forums and from there I was hooked.

Anybody dabble in gambling on golf? When it comes to betting on sports I mainly stick to Football. I know enough about it (both College and NFL) to be comfortable putting a little money down on a game or two throughout the year. I'm not big time or anything but every once and a while having a little riding on a game can be fun. I also do the whole draft kings thing as well as it can make even the dullest games interesting throughout the season. One thing I have never tried however is putting any money down on golf. I don't know the first thing about how to go about it. What to look for

Great thread, Got my first on the way and have trying to figure our this exact situation. Hope to be able to get out every once and while, but if not it wont be the end of the world. From what Ive been told by friends with kids its just nailing down your new schedule and fitting it in when available. Good Luck!

Browns all the way! Being a Browns fan is a lot like my golf game, I always think its going to go well and then once it comes time to play for real everything goes to hell.

I think it really depends on your level of paleness. Most of the time I go baseball cap, but I'm pretty pasty so if the sun is beating down I go large straw hat. Sometimes it gets in my back swing but no big deal, a few beers and it wont bother you at all.

I think 14 is a good number for pros and for regular tournament play. For the average golfer though I think its better to have more clubs available not only to fill in gaps helping their overall game, but to help them figure out which clubs they strike better and therefore give them more work ability on the course for when they get to a point of trying their hand at tournaments and so on.

Yea Ive been looking into doing the same thing (especially for grips), and youtube has a lot on content out there.
