IF I were to be chosen for this I would absolutely love to test out the Blued finished Opus Platinum. I would say that even though I am a higher handicap player that my wedge game is where I shine. Maybe if I had some super high performance wedges my wedge game would be even better. I just got one of the Callaway CB 54* wedges and it was money for me. Played with a scramble group this last week where when you took the handicap and added up the other tree guy's handicap it was scratch. We ended up using about five of my wedge shots. So my guess is that wedge might be my strong suit.

I know most people scoff at graphite but I have graphite MMT's in my irons and love them so I picked the graphite option in these. I wish they had the Golf Pride Tour Velvet Wedge Design 11.5" grip option. My CB came with it and I love how I can get way down on the club for extra, extra control.

Anyhow here are my picks (since I can't make my selection in the Opus Platinum Blues I went ahead and did them in the regular. Would like the Platinum for the weights and the Blue for the awesome look they provide.)

Have never really considered Callaway wedges, but these look really intriguing. It's about that time for a new 50 and 60 anyway...

Can't get a dream set on the sites yet... But I'd like to try the Callaway Opus Platinum Blue Wedges 58* with 8 bounce in Z grind and 52* with 12 bounce in S grind.  Both with DG mid 115 shaft and Winn dri-tac lite chevron black and silver.

I have heard good things about the Opus wedges from Ian and Mike on Club Champion you tube site.

54 S grind and 60 Z grind would be awesome in the new blue platinum wedges! Really hoping I get this opportunity!

Wow bringing the heat these days, eh MGS?!

I just got my SM10s in like 4 days ago so as much as I would like to tinker, doing it with two separate wedge sets that are new to me would just set too many squirrels loose in my head at one time! Good luck to the applicants!

Love the idea of getting a really low bounce wedge into the bag. And then enhancing my approach irons with something that I think will consistently put me near the pin at around the 100-110 yard mark

I currently have Vokey SM9s, but am looking for better Lofts / Grinds.   I am looking forward to the results of this test.

Bag full of callaway clubs except my wedges, if these can compete with vokeys I would consider changing

I've always loved and played Callaway clubs but never had luck with any of their wedges. I'd love to see if these are better or how they compare to my MG3s

Fantastic opportunity! If it’s helpful to compare, I would be happy to do a portion of the review dedicated to the Opus vs SM10.

The closest to my current wedges would be 54 degree W grind, and 58 degree C grind.
