Markand4
Introduction: When I first got into golf I struggled heavily with putting specifically being able to square up the face, one of my buddy's recommended me to go try other putters and see if that helps the issue. I went to 2nd swing to get a putter fitting, while there I learned about putter length, toe hang, and how it fits me and my putting. I ended up needing something with a good amount of toe hang to match my heavily arc stroke and after trying quite a few styles of putter fell in love the del mar. Feel: The milled face on scotty cameron feels like no other, I found all the insert faces to feel like I'm hitting the ball with plastic mallet, but the milled face felt so satisfying Looks: this one is defiantly going split peoples opinions, I love this mid mallet look especially at address, it feels just enough bigger than a blade to inspire confidence but not go full mallet Performance: The heavy toe hang in this putter matches my stroke perfectly, I went from being unable to square the face to nailing Tiger's gate drill every time, the feel off the face also inspires confidence and always makes me want to spend a little more time working on my short game Conclusion: Spending some time and getting fitted for a putter that works best for me became my best investment, I went from dreading putting to spending too much time practicing it, overall I love this Del Mar and can't imagine changing it out Quote Bag: Jones Driver: TSR3 with tensei av raw blue shaft 55g stiff Irons: callaway x2 hot 5-aw regular flex stock graphite Wedges: 54 degree sm6 f grind with dynamic gold, 58 degree milledgrind with dynamic gold Putter: Scotty Cameron Del Mar
