  1. Some really great looking heads, just wish they were offering stronger lofts like the OEM's. I'd venture to say that within the folks on the forum, there are more than a few of us senior players/builders that need that extra help from stronger lofts. Good luck to those entered..............

  2. Old school here......if picked for testing the only real criteria I go with would be ---- does it give me more distance! One can be too over driven with numbers, but what it comes down to really is what can it give me distance wise. Yeah I know all about dispersion / angle of attack and so on and so forth, but perhaps unlike most, my swing is not perfect and swing speed has diminished greatly with age. I'd rather be 240+  in the light rough than 220 in the fairway. If a shaft can deliver like that then it's in the bag.

  3. Threw my name into the hat, just wish they were offering a broomstick version like the length Adam Scott uses.

  4. While they are nice looking clubs, the ones picked for me doing their "get to know", all have very weak lofts compared to what the big OEM's offer.  All you young flat bellies with 100+ swing speed can handle those lofts, but shall we say us more seasoned (old as dirt) players need ALL the help distance wise that we can get. Good luck to those entered.

  5. Nice looking clubs, but wish they would come with stronger lofts. Their current lofts according to the web site are 4 to 7 degrees weaker than many of the OEM sets being offered depending on model. The last thing I and I'm sure many other's need is to be going backwards in distance.

  6. For some ^%#*& reason my computer would not allow the screen shot, so here's my info: Driver Max10 / 10.5- 50 gram shaft "A" flex Mid size grip. Perhaps also send some balls that can find the hole, the ones I use now couldn't even find the Grand Canyon.............

  7. 5 hours ago, Caley said:

our iron sets come with KBS Tour and KBS Tour Lite in reg, stiff and x-stiff and a graphite option of UST Recoil Dart 65 in reg or stiff

Glad to see that you have more than what was listed on the web site. Perhaps it was something amiss with the download, but as I stated prior, that's the information given on the sight. Nothing came up when I hit the customization button, so I took everything at face value. Appreciate the response.............

  8. Currently playing Ping G700, senior graphite shafts at 1 inch plus length. You name an OEM brand and I've most likely hit it, but the G700's are by far the best distance and dispersion wise I've ever hit. Now comparing a DTC club at 1/2 the price and very slightly lesser lofts (Ping 7 = 29.5 and the Caley 01t is at 30 degrees loft) so not a heck of a lot of difference. Checking their web site, they only offer one shaft in regular flex and one standard size grip. This aspect only will/should limit a fair evaluation of their clubs, if those chosen for testing need a different shaft flex or grip size. A clubs merit should be based upon a somewhat minimal fitting process, not just one size fits all..

  9. Threw my name in the hat so to speak, but would like to also throw a curve into the offerings. I picked the #3 putter, but if picked and IF possible, would like to have the putter changed to a broomstick style, like the one  Si Woo Kim uses. This style of putter is making a come back of sorts on the tour. There are at least a half dozen, starting with Adam Scott who are using this type of putter and for those of us that prefer this style, it would be great to give it a review.

  10. Great looking irons, but wish they were at stronger lofts, so us slower swing speed seniors could benefit from them. The 101's at 32* 7 iron could work with the right shaft, but that would still be 4 to 5 degrees less than some of the other OEM offerings.

  11. I find it interesting that they are not going after the total jacked up lofts that other OEM's are offering. I have no idea what's considered "standard lofts" these days, but I would think that a 7 at 32* would be on the weak side., compared to what's out there. Would be interesting to see, if the weighting aspects offers comparable distances to the stronger lofted offerings.
