Hi friends. Happy New Year! Been reading the site for a while, but recently have been lurking the forums. Decided it was time to participate. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I've had clubs for 20+ years though up until last year my play would consist of 3-4 rounds every summer (or no golf a few years when my kids were born). COVID and wanting an outdoor hobby got me back into the game, though time time I'm focused (trying, practicing, and praying) to become an OK player (my definition would be someone who can consistently score in the 80s). My current handicap is 26. What do you love about golf? I love being outdoors, the challenge of the sport, the camaraderie with friends. I also enjoy getting a few hours away from my wife and kids (don't tell my wife!) What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Been a reader of the reviews for a while. I don't know any other Spies Where are you from? What is your home course? CT. Yale is the course I play most often. Also, Sleeping Giant, Ailing, and Lyman Orchards What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best -- I love fall golf walking and enjoying the colors (provided I can find my ball).
