  1. Hey BIG STU Fine text, I also tested some Wilson, DUO OPTIX - Dou soft - DX2 soft - PX3 soft - 432 Ultra -Titanium, did not come close to TP5, only the TOUR VELOCITY FEEL I found interesting. Van Srxion AD333 and Z-star was also satisfied. If I read and translate the text correctly, you only play with srixon? Christof
  2. yes but its expensive balls, i still play too bad i think, for playing with expensive balls, where i play are narrow courses and lots of trees and some water obstacles, a 13hole course on bad days can easily lose 6-7 balls , in my good days max1 to 2. i looked for alternatives in winter there is play along and see what that says, would like to play with 1 or 2 certain models, the difference is too big in all balls, i'm on 05.08.22 surgery on the right hip an arthroscopy is a month on crutches and 2 months of rehabilitation, maybe go back to work on 05.11.22, making a golf swing will not be immediately possible I'm afraid. I've heard what many do is start with their favorite ball and if it doesn't work they take another ball. I still have time. Also had a Word document made and busy I have a 120 balls and the TP5 came out the best, I made a list which can go, which doubts have fallen and my favorites and in order. Christof
  3. Okay will partly have to do with feeling and sound and or being a fan of a certain brand, consumer base that is also true I hadn't thought of that yet. thanks Christof
  4. I mistranslated the launch monitor. Putting The TP5 was the constant either in the hole or a few centimeters off it, with the soft or very soft and distance balls there was a difference, the TP5 was always short at the hole. Tested at different distances and the putting green went up slightly, if I put 10-15 balls from other brand and went back to the TP5 was always short on the hole, sometimes I thought it's luck but the difference with the other balls was too big mostly past the hole or short, the proV1 and Chrome soft came close as well. The TP5 at the chipping was the ball that stops rolling the fastest. I thought the ball went higher than with the other balls and then also stopped faster, also saw it had backspin but as with the PRO that the ball rolls back that was not part of it. That might depend on what kind of green you're playing and the golfer. I did see a difference between the TP5 and Prov1 and chrome soft in height and ball rolling. Christof
  5. Feeling and sound came across best to me and also the result, I describe the sound as not too soft and not too hard, with the soft balls and the distance balls that did not work. The TP5 gave me the best result especially in putting, 2nd Prov1 and Chromo soft. Yes didn't know that putter make/model made so much difference, also wanted to know and the question. Well understand or maybe I'm thinking too far about it, for example Taylermade makes balls that best match their clubs or vice versa or I'm seeing this all wrong. Greetings Christof
  6. The test was actually quite simple, I had several balls, like Prov1 and chorme soft/ AD33/Z-star/Wilson/Inesis, some 20 different brands and some different models, the test was done on practical putting green at the club, I started putting at 1meter so by 6meter I had already made a selection, I did further low and high chips from 10-15meter on practical chipping grounds. Didn't test with a launch monitor, more by feel and distance and the TP5 always gave the best result. You reaction read every putter/model has different material and will give a different contact. I have been playing golf for less than 2 years and was wondering how the TP5 gave me the best result. I am going to look at the MGS site and ball lab and take some time to understand it better. Thank you for the response. Christof
  7. Hello Are there any golfers who play with gloves without fingers? A Half Finger Golf Glove. I play without gloves, I play interlock grip, small had, with a glove on does not give a good feeling I can not grip my golf grip properly, precisely the material of the glove is in the way. In warm weather or rain weather a glove is useful. Christof
  8. Good day Mygolfspy fans I have tested many different balls in putting and chipping, and the TP5 came out best in feel/contact. My question is, if I have a different putter, could another ball have come out best in my test or is the TP5 really that good for putting and chipping? Christof
  9. Hello, I am Christof from Belgium and I play golf at the local golf club called Witbos, which is 8 km away from my home. I am in my 2nd year of golf, I try to go 4 times to the club in one week. From the beginning of July 2022 I stopped playing golf, I had a right hip arthroscopy operation on 05.08.22, is month on crutches then 2 months revalidating, I will not be playing golf or make a golf swing immediately. Now I have some time for internet to look around, I find the mygolfspy very interesting all the test and reviews and chance to test equipment very interesting. Sporty greetings Christof
  10. Hey Motoboss Yes, I try to tell it as well as I can, maybe often too much or too long. For my irons and fairway I did a fitting, the Wilson D9 I paid 580€ in England and in Belgium I had to pay 899€ for the same set. The Taylermade fairway I bought in the shop another where I tested the Wilson D9. On the Taylermade I got 10% and 50€ discount, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it there in England it was cheaper, on Clubhouse golf you find very good prices and you don't pay any tax. The 2 fitting places I have been to were actually disappointing the pro's just stood there looking at me, if you asked for something it was just too much, that's why I asked on the forum. I have also said that to a pro at the local golf club maybe also the reason the grip has changed to provide more stability. At the local golf club you can't test equipment. Now I have time to look on the internet and ask questions, on 05.11.22 I may go back to work. Is go to the Ping site when they have test days in Belgium, in the Netherlands in the Jumbo shops the fittings are free but not nearby. I do make good puts with the ping putter, the feel is not right the stability/shape/weight of the putter doesn't feel right, but I don't know enough about it to know what the problem could be, but it could be that the golfer himself is the problem . I am someone who does a lot on feeling maybe too much. Thanks in the meantime for the response. Christof
  11. Good day MyGolfSpy fans or followers. I have a question about the Putter, I have the Putter; Ping Sigma 2 Tyne Stealth: Shaft Straight, Grip: Ping Pistol PP60, Weight Distribution: Heel-Toe Face: Dual Durometer True Roll, Hosel: Single Bend, Alignment: Single Sight Line 1st I find the Pistol grip very good and comfortable, I have small hands. 2nd Face: Dual Durometer True Roll, I also like it. 3rd The club head I have trouble controlling with long puts, I play with the pin grip, which is better for me. My swing is slightly bent to straight. I have not fit or tested the 19.06.22 putter. I have also played the Taylor Made Spider GT Rollback and Taylor Made Spider also felt good but have also played Odyssey Rossie was also good. Think something more stable look than the Ping Sigma 2 Tyne, I have read and watched so many test that I don't really know anymore. Yesterday I had an arthroscopy on my R hip and 4 weeks on crutches, golf swing is not immediately possible, putting will be fine after 4 weeks. Therefore I would like to ask you if you can recommend something on the forum or if you have an opinion. Maybe buy a 2nd hand putter and test it. I have a 3 metre putter mat from pure2improve and puttout mirror and port and Pressure Putt. I hope to learn more here. Christof
  12. I like Wilson Staff ECO blue, a strikingly modest colour, simple and practically very light, made from recyclable materials. The Axglo Tri-360 3 Wheel Golf Trolley has a very large storage space and a large surface to put your scorecard on, the front wheel can be locked or unlocked, so far it has always been locked. The storage space is a big plus and very easy to fold and unfold.
