  1. Hello Golf2Much I took off basic grips on all my equipment and tested all sorts of things. I am a mix of Lamkin. SONAR+ TOUR CALIBRATE and Sonar + and 1x UTX and 1x Golfpride MCC Plus4 is a bit too expensive to put in the closet and mounted on my 62° which doesn't use much. UTX I find very intressant on my 54° mounted ok not much use, I do like it, I like more the sticky feel. Sonar + is slightly preferred on the SONAR+ TOUR CALIBRATE. I have Rib grips mounted on the shaft where I have the Sonar + and UTX and Golfpride MCC Plus4, have the same feel as the SONAR+ TOUR CALIBRATE. Christof
  2. Would also do a fitting, I myself have been to 2 shops for yet different brands testing. But at 1 winnkel it cost 50€ but you got a 50€ voucher instead the other was 15€. Maybe at the local club you can go too.
  3. Pen/pencil grip right hand down.
  4. Hey Pozzit Is why I used air too. With me they have become the Lamkin Sonar+ Tour Calibrate , on my 54° I have Lamkin UTX Golf Grip I do like and on some Lamkin Sonar+ are on, I bought the Golf Grips Rib and can make the same as the Sonar+ Tour Calibrate. I had ordered too few of the Sonar+ Tour Calibrate. therefore 1 UTX I do find good grip and don't like to take off, Lamkin Sonar+ and Sonar+ Tour Calibrate are basically the same, I like sticky feel more than against the soft grips. Christof
  5. Changing grips with air is more interesting and clean than with solvent and tape. Christof
  6. Hi Fred Mitchell Meanwhile, I have blown my grips on my clubs. Sporting Greetings Christof
  7. One big minus point on both golf courses though there are no toilets on the courses. Golf de Belle Dune is much more difficult than les Cignes, and at Belle-Dune no course is flat with height differences of 25 to 50 metres. With the bag, I do not yet know what I will do. I bought at https://www.out-of-bounds.nl/ can also put in english TP5 C class was 2pay and 1 box free, out of 36 balls 12 was as good as nothing and 12 numerous with minimal damage already well see all the other was something to see I am not going to feel that. I think out-of-bounds is good that you can order by 12 there many other sites is 24 or 36 or more, I think too much if you is like to try everything. HC20 yes I don't know I have trouble with straight strokes and I lose a lot with that, will see Sunday 1st qualifying match at the club though at 08am which is not so my favourite hour. Thanks Christof
  8. Good day King corbra. Sorry about the latte response, I'm back from tonight, I went golfing for 3 days in Fort mahon France on the courses 2x at Golf de Belle Dune, and 1x Golf Club Nampont St.Martin, we played at "les Cignes .Was tough, 1st day at Golf de Belle Dune I think I lost 12 balls, was terrible and had 12 points, 2nd day at les Cignes we played texas scrambel with 3 I was definitely the bad one of the 3 but did win and I think lost a ball or 4-6. Today at Belle Dune was good though I had 31 points and lost ball at 4-6. I do find a very good bag, water tight bag makes and water still gets wet along inside, yes is also not the intention but what can you do about it? I have had an email from ClubHouse Golf, if I want I may send bag back is to england, then I am without a big bag, I have another carry bag, for 18 holes a bit too small because I bring more. I have asked how long I will miss the bag or get other one and send it back for free? actually there not much point for sending the bag back, in heavy rain weather I don't play much anyway. Sporting greetings Christof
  9. Hello seemoreputters I'm not at all as technical as Consil, currently I play with the Taylermade, started with ping before that tested other ones, the straight models shafts always felt the best, I have technical information below. : Putter; Ping Sigma 2 Tyne Stealth: Shaft Straight, Grip: ping pistol PP60, Weight Distribution: Heel-Toe Face: Dual Durometer True Roll, Hosel: Single Bend, Alignment: Single Sight Line Putter: TaylorMade Redline Monte Carlo. Putter Type: Mallet, Face: 6160 Aluminium, Hosel: #7 Small Post, Weight Distribution: Face Balance, Alignment: Single High Contrast Sightline, Grip: Lamkin Crossbone Pistol
  10. Hello King Cobra Is very firm bag, only is not 100% waterproof, the 2 holes from below in the 1st compartment, in rainy weather or heavy rain weather water runs in. I bought bag at Clubhous golf, I emailed to Big max Austria, is a bag specially designed and made for the golfers in U.K. but in U.K. they will not play golf in the rain!?!! Greetings Christof
  11. Hey Cnosil Okay of those models I didn't know at all, with the reference. Maybe put a narrower grip on the Ping, maybe something more like on the Taylermade, is see what that gives, now that it will stay outside longer light and the weather will get better, I won't use the putter mat as much. Still is looking at it because crazy costs I'm not going to do. Thanks for the good explanation. Christof
  12. Good day My question is what is the difference between half moon putters and I don't know the name correctly the model with wings. I have the Ping Sigma 2 Tyne Stealth -Taylormade Redline Monte Carlo, When I bought my golf set I chose the ping putter, I have a putter mat at home and have arrived at the golf club a few times without a putter. When I started playing golf I got at the club a P a 7 and a putter and the putter was a half-moon model, I don't remember the model, I was happy with it though, from Inesis also went to test and half-moon model was interesting out of 3. To have a putter at home I bought the Taylormade Redline Monte Carlo was 105€, I took the putter is to the club for longer putts and stayed in my bag. The Ping and Taylermade are all face balanced, I find the taylermade more enjoyable putting. Is just the difference that weight is more from the back centre instead of the side? or it to do with the grip? I putt with the pen grip. Can you remove the Ping putter grip with a Spring Rod Grip Remover? Christof
  13. I just bought a new bag, arrived today, for the new season starts tomorrow with 1st game. Big Max I-Dry Aqua Drive Golf Cart Bag. Christof
  14. I have a question about the zip ties, I suppose of about 0.035 inch thickness? that is a 0.88mm converted to European standard, I have 10 different cable ties at home and all are thicker than 1mm or 0.0393, thinnest I have lying is 1.35mm or 0.053inch. In width are also different is around 5mm/0.196inch. The cable ties I have at home are 1.35mm is that good or are they already too thick? If my translation is right, you use 1st double-sided tape then the cable binder on it then painters tape? I blow my grips on it. Christof
  15. Good day TwinMikes Welcome to the forum, I looked at the gloves very intressant, you are also satisfied with them. But I live in Belgium and it's not affordable to send the gloves and shipping costs to Belgium from America for 105 dollars. I'm not going to specify that. Thanks for the tip Christof
  16. a wedge, teeing off at the tee is ok important and on the fairway but if you can hit from the last 100m or 50m or even 25m straight onto green close to the hole, may be slightly more important than all the others, in the last 100m messed up then you don't have many metres to make up for it. Is my take on it. Greetings Christof
  17. What I see is that Cleveland and Wilson are doing well for not being known as a well-known putter brand. But maybe I am wrong.
  18. Hello MattF Look at my comment and picture at Consil, I googled, europe not find or buy whole set, come all sites from America and in Dutch google I come to eBay and Amazon American sites. Maybe still is drive to a special shop but see photo that works too the tip is maybe a bit too wide or too thick, it worked well anyway. Christof
  19. My black rubber tip suggests nothing, against the grip pushes the tip comes out of the gun. I think the size is 1/8, the connector that is in the back of the gun for connecting the quick coupling is 1/4 and that does not fit from the front on the gun, is size too big, I think therefore 1/8. I have the link from ebay is browse and did some googling, will be hard to order something like that separately. Maybe in a specialist shop. I had sent my parents to a shop. in the picture you can see it, the narrowest part is maybe a bit too big. I did 3 grips with it and still worked out. Will see tomorrow go golfing what it gives. Sporting Greetings Christof
  20. The taper tip the gold piece does not fit on it, I need a piece that screws onto the gun and the taper tip on that. Or taper tip that goes directly on the gun, I have not found. Christof
  21. Good day Consil Yes I didn't explain well. I mean like in the video you forwarded, I have same gun my taper tip the gold piece does not fit on it, I need a piece that is screwed on the gun and there the taper tip on it. Christof
  22. Hello Consil Good day I have a question, I have the gun and the tapered tip, I have been to 2 shops already, I, can't find the piece that is on the gun and where the tapered tip should go in, the question is what is the name of that piece and what size is it. Sporting greetings Christof
