  1. Introduction I am Christof Verbert, 39 years young. I live in Hulshout in Belgium, I have a BSO degree in central heating & plumbing + specialisation in heat technical installations. After that I did various courses in evening school and at Sport Vlaanderen, I have also done various jobs, I am currently working for the City of Herentals from 04/06/2012 at the roads and signalling department until 31/12/20. From 01.01.2021, I have been transferred to the green service of Noorderwijk-Morkhoven. I have done various sports too many to mention. Last sport I did before golfing was cycling, I had to stop there due to a problem with me Left femur, in 2014 they did an arthroscopy on my left hip that didn't work out in 2016 they did another arthroscopy with an Iliopsoas release also didn't work out,Was very frustrating, I got problem at work, maybe got a bit depressed mentally and physically a bit cracked and still to a large extent. Now it's golf and skiing in winter and functional training. But after a lot of struggling, I ended up playing golf, through sports after work in 2020, that's what it was called at our place, City of Herentals paid 3h golf lessons for those who interned, though in group, a kind of introduction package. Then I took a starter package for 3 months and was at 6h golf lessons, it was full covid period and I didn't have many options left of sports and without sports I don't function. I joined in early 2021, from April I played competitions and already from the 1st competitions fellow golfers said to take other trainer or join someone else's golf lessons, was so every competition, I kept that up until August, I went to other trainer and had to start from 0 again, was very disappointing and frustrating, I didn't play much more golf then only when I took a lesson, still on the last day became a member again. In 2022 I quit in May/June, it was no longer possible of making a golf swing and August 2022 right hip have an arthroscopy done only started back in late 2022. Hopefully this year will be my 1st full year of golf. Honestly I had never heard of Garson golf even on the online golf sites have never come across anything from Garson. Right now the Taylormade is in the bag, normally I had bought it to go with my putter mat, I have arrived a few times without a putter on the club. I had taken the Taylormade is to the club and it stayed in my bag. If I have a lot of time and desire, I wanted to try a different grip on the Ping to see what that gives me or sell the Ping and buy about the same as the Taylormade. Since putting with the Taylormade, my putting has improved markedly. I putt with a variation of the pen/pencil grip. Only I find the grip a bit too narrow, then I find the Ping grip better in thickness may be a bit thinner in my opinion. But now with Garson test it comes out fine. I had 1st changed the Max but to the Quad tour tapperd partly because tester asked for it and partly it is the same as the max only different shape. I am curious if the grips suit my grip style and improve putting or not, only I am not sure yet which putter to use. I am waiting for the box probably everyone is going to have the grips for me as the grips should come from America will take a while and I can read your comments, I use a translator is easiest for me, sorry if the sentences are not very correct and don't understand then just ask. I go to the golf club 2 to 4 times a week, I play every match, now that it is longer light I play evenings 5 to 9 holes you can learn more than on the driving range or practical area. Christof
  2. Yes 1€ is still serious there are also places where you have to pay 2-3€ for 30 balls or get less, I think son ball machine is very profitable in some clubs. yes in Belgium we don't have private or public courts at least not that I know of. I don't know if it can be explained properly. I play at Witbos is the name of the club where I am a member, you pay registration and membership fees for the first year and only membership fees for the second year. At your home club you can use the course and practical part for free, if I want to play at another club we have to pay green fees both for the course and the practical part, I think Belgium hardly anyone does, it's quite expensive. Unless you come with a whole group of 20-40 people then you get the 10-20€ discount. If I stop now at Witbos stop and go to other club I have to pay registration and membership fees again at the new club. I stop at the end of 2023 and in 2024 I can't play golf, either paid a fee think 80€ you are sleeping member, if you haven't done that now and want to go back to golf in 2025 you pay back registration fee and membership fee. i think for my age the registration fee is 655€/person and membership fee 1050€ + Federation card 63€. we are a 13 holes club. I hope you understand a bit. have tried to be as brief as possible.
  3. I cannot help you with it. I am using lamkin sonar+ and calibrate.
  4. Yes $12=10.94 euros for 75 balls is pretty expensive, probably you are paying the brand name of the balls they use there or the driving range. I pay 1€ for about 25-30balls are not branded balls. There are club in Belgium the more expensive pricier clubs the driving range balls are free. Goes registration money and membership fee 2x to..... of where I am a member.
  5. Can use a mirror and gate. Mirror is well and also if you have a putter mat at home with the Pressure Putt Trainer from puttout.golf. the gate I don't use, just for putting the mirror against it.
  6. $12 per bucket cost? how many balls do you get? those are TP5 or PROV1 range balls?
  7. For me, it's not country, but more dance-house music-Hip Hop-latin. Also have 3-metre putter mat at home and mirror did improve putting. On the putting green, I spend maybe 15 to max 30min on a 15 to 20 putts, that's all I do and I always do the most difficult puts, up or down or slant or a mix.
  8. I had only irons and I wanted something different after 1year of playing with only irons, especially from the Tee, went to do a fitting, I hit 1st with my irons and after time the fitter give me the Taylormade Stealth and felt good I tried Callaway and other brand but I don't remember which but won't have left an impression, taylormade felt good in the taylormade stealth was ventus red 5 in regular. I don't know my contribution will get you anything.
  9. Where I have bought most or almost everything is in England https://www.clubhousegolf.co.uk/ from 120€ no shipping and no tax costs between 3 and 5days delivery. i sometimes also look at https://www.golflaedchen.de/ on https://www.tesi-golf.de/ i bought my equipment for grips removal and fitting. https://www.nordicagolf.nl/ that's sweden also interesting more for grips not clubs. This is my 3rd year i am a member at golf club https://golfclubwitbos.be/, is more of a golf club where everyone is welcome and affordable, is not the case everywhere in Belgium. In those 3 years no brand has ever been there for demo or test days. In Belgium those go more to clubs with charisma and actually more money sitting. In Belgium it's polite writing, too much pretentious behaviour with that behaviour I can't handle, that's why I don't like going to golf shops. I golf because other sports don't go physically anymore. Otherwise, I would never have started playing golf. Driver: yes, is not going to make the difference for me and fairway you can use double and with 7 if I swing very well I manage between 170 and 180m, Unfortunately this is not always the case. If I get to 200m with 3 I am already satisfied, the 3 is still on the way and I am sitting at home with 3 broken ribs from 3 to 5, I had a commuting bike accident. It won't be for immediately I can go play golf. I think you are the 1st European I have come across on the forum, very much I am not on the forum either. Are there any interesting golf courses across the border with Belgium and Germany?
  10. While for some using the same shaft in their fairway woods will work it’s not a 100% guarantee. It depends on how the balance and weight of that shaft feel and if it affects the swing of the golfer differently in the higher lofted or lower lofted wood differently. For some they need the same shaft just heavier and others need a different shaft. OK is that different too, then I'll find out for a while what it gives Having a standard: is well explained why there cannot be standard models, of course the more choice the better for the golfer and for the manufacturer, 8 different models is quite impressive. Surely, then, reasonable money goes into the golf world for everything to be tested and made. I have been reading some on the forum for the last few hours quite impressive. I have understood 1 thing if I want something different or new material I will have a fitting done. Thank you for the good information.
  11. Is why I took back Taylormade Stealth with the same shaft. Dusseldorf is a 165Km drive for me. If you follow football a bit from Belgium, Westerlo is 10-15min drive then Antwerp then is 30-45min drive. I had a warranty voucher from ClubHouse Golf of 120€ I wanted driver or fairway 3 but fairway 3 is more financially interesting. In Herent near Leuven https://www.golflab.be/nl/home is 35min drive, https://www.thegolfcompany.be/ is a 40min drive but very bad direction for driving if busy then you don't know when you arrive. Golflab I bought my fairway 7 I had to pay 262€. thegolfcompany.be my irons fit there I had to pay 899€, on clubhouse golf I bought the irons Wilson 54° and ping putter and golf bag for 900 or 950€. In Belgium golf equipment is not affordable, there are also quite a few Belgians who go to the Netherlands especially the Jumbo shops I believe there a fitting is free and at Decathlon Antwerp it is also free there it is limited in golf equipment for testing. Golflap a fitting costs 50€ for that 50€ the get a voucher though intressant. Thegolfcompany a fitting 15€. At Clubhousegolf bought me RTX5 wedges for 105€ in Belgium 120 to 160€ How I experienced the fittings is hits to/against a screen or cloth, come up with some numbers and give you few clubs and hits a bit at best feels that then suits you. At Golflab they have told me if you are WHC under 20 have back fitting done for more better or more precise irons. i don't know if that is true or a sales tactic. I hope you understand a bit my english writing is not everything I use a translator otherwise it doesn't work. Christof
  12. Look at the picture, I bought them the same but in fairway 3. I got the 7 on 11/06/2022. model 2021/2022? So can read all right I've taken the same as the Fairway 7 then it's going to feel the same anyway. Otherwise but would have been frustrating. Why not make those all the same and be certain standard!? That's business for sure, the more you offer the more you can sell. With the next new gun, will be a driver, if I ever buy that, will be a fitting anyway, or buy the TaylorMade Stealth Golf Driver Fujikura Ventus Red 5 regular, next year the price will still come down, then still in stock. Do you work in the golf world, so detailed of everything know, other members also give good information, of those various schaften zaols the UST Mamiya recoil and hzdrus shafts. I'm not going to delve into that is way too technical for me, it's not simply the golf world.
  13. Ok I went to the site of https://www.golfworks.com/finding-the-right-golf-shaft/en at Shaft Selection Primer 1.0: there is a table there, I looked at my speeds and came up with Regular . But in the meantime I understand that there is not much you can do with that table. i was looking for a graphite shaft. All so can read there is also a difference between steel and graphite.
  14. My irons and TaylorMade Stealth 7 regular are fitted, I had a guarantee voucher of 120 € at Clubhouse golf which are in England I live in Belgium. In Belgium, golf equipment is not paid for someone to work from 08:00 to 16:00. Because I liked to have a fairway 3 and a voucher of 120 € it was easy to buy a fairway 3. i wanted is something else i hesitated between cobra and taylormade. In the end I took the TaylorMade Stealth 3 regular for the least misery and remains in the same group or product as TaylorMade Stealth 7. The reason why I have not had a fitting done for a fairway 3.
  15. I don't understand your question very well, translation doesn't work well, But is that what you are asking; I have a TaylorMade Stealth fairway 7 Regular and that's why in the 3 I also took a regular. The TaylorMade Stealth fairway 7 has been fitted. Was that your question?
  16. Hey RickyBobby_PR If the golfer wants other clubs or no longer feels comfortable with his current equipment, it is better that he has a fitting done for other equipment, if I read the responses, it is fairly complicated. Maybe being an expert or being in the business will be easier. Knowing nothing about it, it is not easy. Thanks
  17. Hey JakeSmith2316 How should I put it, I would have liked a fiarway 3, I hesitated between Cobra KING LTDx in regular or stiff with Project X HZRDUS Smoke iM10 or Cobra KING LTDx LS stiff Tensei AV Raw White 75 both same price 219.99 € or TaylorMade Stealth with Fujikura Ventus Red 5 regular or stiff or Ventus Red 6 Stiff. Took the TaylorMade Stealth Ventus Red 5 regular 269.99 € because I already had the 7 then the still stayed with the same product, I wanted is something different that's why I hesitated, I thought in the end for the least misery I'll just stick with the same also costs a 10s of € more.
  18. Hey Cnosil I looked at the site is, yes, I didn't know there was so much involved. thank you for the info.
  19. Hey tony@CIC Nice the Golfworks people have put in the work to put everything in one file. Handsomely done. Looking at the table is going to be Regular for me anyway, last year is at indoor lesson, is wrote down some data with my irons 9 to 5 I am between 131 and 134km/h and ball speed between 160 and 181km/h, with Fairway 7 balspeed 190km/h. Actually the most I don't have yet is a driver but won't be for this year I think and maybe get better fit, I did order a TaylorMade Stealth Fairway 3. Yes the golf schafts is not simple, thank you for the info.
  20. I think most on the driving range, there I practice my swing is the worst of all then pitching, chipping and putting is about the same maybe putting slightly better. On driving range for example I hit about 5 balls to the 50 metre from P and 48° and 54° 58°, about 10 balls to the 75 and the 100 metre with 9 and P and 48° and 54°, the remaining material and balls I use for hitting beyond 100 metre. for 1€ we get a 25-30 balls. Sometimes I also have free balls and hit a bit more. If I have a lot of time and sense I still go to chipping a 20balls strokes then still feel good I finish with putting a 15 putts do. Sometimes I only do chipping and putting. In a normal week I go 1 to 2 times practice and 1 to 2 times in the week I play on the course. Now when it is longer light I go on the course and sometimes play 5 to 9 holes, I find that much more interesting than the driving range or chipping and putting area, gets a lot more feel and skill more match situation imitation Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  21. Good day I have always been told of the stiffness of the schafts is not the same with every brand. A Rugelar of brand A is not the same as brand B. I hope that is true otherwise they have always told me something. Maybe difficult question I have a Taylermade F.W. 7 with ventus Red5 regular. How can I find out for example at HZRDUS which one is comparable al the ventus Red5 regular. Do you look at spin/ ball flight or Torque or weight? or only at fitting or testing. Christof
