  1. Hello hckymeyer Great explanation and it's not long winded. I have replied to tony@CIC and cnosil. If you read that maybe a Launch monitor is the most interesting thing, when I'm on the course I use my watch for distance from the hole, the vivoactive 4 is not a real golf watch but it suffices for me and on the PC I can also see the distances, I don't know if they are quite correct. My garmin can also use for chipping, if I step off the distance with GPS on then I also know the distance or I use a long tape measure now too, I had one of 5 meters but it is broken, I did chipping started at 5 meters and so 5 meters back out with wedges, that's how I do it when putting start at 1 meter and so 1 meter back. is more for finding out long distance shot to get more feeling and rhythm and to find out distance. The rangefinder tips are also the most interesting. Slight preference goes to a Portable Launch Monitor that is affordable something like PRGR Black Portable Launch Monitor. An affordable rangefinder is also the most interesting. If you already have a watch it might be stupid to buy a rangefinder.
  2. On the driving range with us there are 1 board of each 50 75 100 150 and 200 meters, there are still those round things on the ground that are about 50 75 100 and 125 meters, which are then in front of the Pro's trainers booth is all the way to the left of driving range, have a round or half round driving range, is on the far right or in the middle you have other distances. Can't do a lot with a rangefinder on the driving range, on the chipping area there are 4 flags for using the rangefinder. If I use my watch and step down the distance or take a long tape measurer then I also know the distance. Is especially the long shot and distance to know.
  3. Yes is both a bit, for me it's distance maybe ok a bit of swing tempo for it all to feel better, with which club what tempo and how far does the ball fly. yes it's not easy. actually Speed figures are not that important, with me it's more on the feeling and rhythm, if I manage 100km/h or 50km/h I'm not going to be busy on the course or during a match, the harder I think about it on the course the worse it goes. I do a lot by feeling and rhythm. Portable Launch Monitor does come in handy on your screen certain swing do and the numbers always come up and are always or about the same you get the feeling and rhythm too. For pin location I can also use my Garmin. For now slight preference to Portable Launch Monitor, the PRGR Black Portable Launch Monitor does seem affordable and gets good reviews. Are there many amateur golfers who have Portable Launch Monitor.
  4. Good day I am hesitating between Portable Launch Monitor or rangefinder or something like Blast Motion Speed Analyzer. When I am on the driving range between 100 and 150m there is no sign and the signs are very bad, on the outside, after 150m I don't know where the ball lands either. On the chipping section there are no distances either. I would like to buy device so that I get more feeling of swing and distance and control, it is purely for distance for on training. When I'm on the course I use a Garmin Vivo active 4 watch. Between a Portable Launch Monitor or rangefinder are already big price differences. That's why the question on the Forum. Christof
  5. Wilson because they are fit and less expensive than the big brands. Wedges cleveland I do find very pleasant, T.M. fairway 7 and 3 because they are fitted. Actually, brand does not play a role but with me but fit and be affordable.
  6. Only see the grips don't stretch too hard, I myself put a line or tape under old grips before I take them off, if you forget. take the new grips and mark off on the shaft, which I do put a line on the shaft and blow the grips right over it, then you also have the right distance. You can always measure with the white line above and below the grips. with a grip still on the club or loose grip. Try to blow at an even pace. Christof
  7. I only found LTD 2 and the new LTD4. I think the easiest thing to do is mail to J. Lindeberg. and this https://www.bobshop.co.za/item/551758093/Second_Hand_J_Lindeberg_LTD_4_Putter.html but aren't going to be much with it I think. Greetings Christof
  8. I tested the putter and it did its job and felt good, only the € was too much. Took the Ping, now I putt with the T.M. redline monte carlo very happy off goes better than with the Ping. Christof
  9. Do you also have pictures, well the material is like to see in the bag. Greetings Christof
  10. Yes then the technical information is wrong from the Ping. Taylormade: singel bend ever buy is other putter then I pay attention to singel bend shafts. The trainer at the club said Face Balanced putters are good for me, at Decathlon I also went and said pretty straight putts. Still other shop Face Balanced also came out best. Another thing I will try is a Blade putter Face Balanced. Will maybe be in summer when it's sales or end of season or next year. Thank you for the feedback. Have a nice golf weekend. Christof
  11. If I get the Ping off, I will probably blow the Garson grips on it, seems much easier to me. If it doesn't work out it will be the taylormade.
  12. Hello Ethan I can only give this video https://youtu.be/0rNV1srn85w ,Is though first time I see that with a F.W. you have to hit differently from the Tee opposite on the fairway. I haven't been able to try Rick's technique yet. Christof
  13. Okay it doesn't seem simple for me to get Spring Rod Grip Remover in there anyway, it will be quite a job.
  14. Then I should not buy the The best way is the get a grip shiv, Decathlon Belgium does not have that. I do have this Spring Rod Grip Remover.
  15. it is not a adjustable shaft. The normal shaft.
  16. Hey Cnosil I am already happy to have found the right photo. Most buy a putter that is in the basic set or 1 that looks and feels good and is affordable, especially starts playing golf.I also only know the basics the face balanced and toe-hang or bent, straight putting/swing you have it is a face balanced, bent or round it is a putter with toe-hang. If you are ready to putt and drop a ball under your left eye and the ball falls on the ball lying on the ground you also need a face balanced, at least that's how I understood it on the taylormade video about putters. Cnosil and or the others too, looking at the pictures and video, the Ping would be a single curve, but with me it is more like double curve. Taylormade would Hosel: #7 Small Post with Offset: 1/2 Shaft, on me it's a single bend, is that right? Taylormade no longer puts Hosel: #7 with the information. In other post already said I have had, the taylormade gives me a better feel when I am ready to putt, maybe it is because of the colours, the Taylormade also feels better in the swing also better control, Ping weighs 545grams and taylormade 515grams I don't know there because of that or because of the shaft or hosel or the putter head. I am not technically good enough for that, I would like to know though ever someone can tell me, its all at face balacend.can only say what I feel and taylormade feels better and putting improved. Greetings Christof Ping type sigma 2.mp4 Redline monte carlo.mp4
  17. Good day Mygolfspy members I may test the Grason grips, I would like to change the grips on the Ping Putter, on the irons and others it is quite easy to change the grips without breaking the grips. On the Ping I have no idea how to start it without doing it broken, on YouTube I haven't found it either. Hereby I make an appeal. Grip Ping Pistol PP60 Greetings Christof
  18. I have CBX2 in 48° and 58° and also have RTX 5 in 62° and felt good and I have the RTX5 in 58° I still have more feel in it than in the CBX2. Srixon Z-strar- AD333 I find good, my choice still goes to TP5 or chrome soft or Vice pro, as a cheaper ball I would AD333. I cannot help you with more. Christof
  19. OK that about Seemore bit misread. After I answered your feedback, I also saw it at the Cleveland Huntington Beach Premier 8 and Wilson Infinite II West Loop. By In general if you were to draw a line down the shaft and intersect the hosel you would find, you mean this with drawing below. Have started looking at evnerol, yes always thought each shaft matched or had to match the club head. It's unbelievable. They make it complicated the golf brands.
  20. Ok, yes I was seeing behind a face Balanced Blade putter in the most wanted list, meanwhile I have figured out, I should see to Hosel: #7 Small Post or Hosel: Single Bend or Hosel: Double Bend are almost always face Balanced. difference I think is the Balance between the hosels of shafts, #7small post is about the same as double bend I think, if I read it right on forum of Straight Shaft or Offset Shaft or Hosel Shaft...which is for you and why???? was a question from By seemoreputters.
  21. I have a question maybe a silly question, is actually always the Best or Most Wanted blade or mallet putter. Why not the Most wanted, Face Balanced Putter slightly arched putter highly arched putter I think you are new to golf though very interesting and maybe add value anyway in testing and results and feedback and for the fans and Mygolfspy owners. Maybe for the brands too because the golfer can look up more specific information about the model/brand faster. It may be that I see it all wrong.
  22. OK thanks in advance for the good explanation, I had asked, ter right forgot to add is because especially in shaft stiffness a Regular at brand A is not the same as regular at brand B and brand A still has different models in Regular, so can read you have that all figured out well and no problem with it. Mizuno I came across the Mizuno T22 Blue IP Golf Wedge but it doesn't fit my buget. But they say, Nothing feels like a Mizuno. I don't know if it's tru Christof
  23. I have a question, you have lots of different brands/models, are they all fitted? do you feel the difference in advantaged in wedges or does it all feel the same?
