  1. Awesome, Always got room for another MGS tour card on the bag!
  2. All depends when I roll in the night before, normally about 30 minutes before, sometimes 5 minutes before. A few chips and putts ... I'm good to go, sometimes with no warm up, just stretching I've played my best rounds. It's all in the golf gods hands how you day turns out.
  3. Will there be an update version/style of the Tour card?
  4. I see you have the right MINDSET.. One of my all time favorite albums in the background.
  5. I like the dual color, this is a sharp looking putter! Is there a larger loft than you normal putter and also can you tell if there is a longer skid before the roll is normal?
  6. @cnosil hope your feeling a lot better, I seen your iron practice, looking good!
  7. Got to love the schools for passing around illnesses Happy Birthday to the young man, Hope the rest of the family stays healthy, the youngest symptoms sounds like what my wife had gone through recently. Hope he feels better very soon, it really is tough to have a little one being sick, take care.
  8. Morning MGS Nation, Going to just chill today, maybe work on the base of the new putting green, starting back to work tonight on my 5 day schedule then next week back to golf, we are supposed to have some warm dry weather... I'll believe it when I see it, the weather guys just are great predictors. Time to chill Have a great day MyGolfSpy Nation -- HITTEM Straight!
  9. @Rob Person for the X5 BMW means BRING MORE WALLETS . They use a lot of plastic under the hood also, the cheapest thing so far is to get the oil changed for 130.00 with a discount.. but I got around that.. took it to Wally World and paid 52.00 but had to take my own filter since they don't carry them. I think it take just over 7qt oil and must be full Synthetic (Bargain)
  10. @TJ Hall @Rob Person thanks for the suggestions, I'm probably going to get 2 more cups, then use some of your suggestions in placing them. Going to tamp it down to pack the sand then add more where needed.
  11. Maui is so beautiful then you throw in golf... Speechless. When I played on Maui it was The Royal Ka’anapali Course, I played well that day, recorded a HOLE IN ONE on #17 with a 9 iron and finished the day 2 over par. I stayed across the street at the Sheraton Maui resort with I got very cheap when I was the program manager for Priceline.com customer service. but that was many moons ago. I want to go play St Andrews on the next big adventure, but that is down the road.
  12. Date 04/25/2024 Course Name Uniontown Country Club Gross Score 82 Course Handicap 7 Gross Strokes over/under par 11 Net Score to Par 4 Net Score 75 Net Birdies or better 0 Longest Drive 0 Finally able to get out and play after what seems like months of rain, wind and floods. Considering I was able to get some time and put the new irons in play and testing the Bridgestone mindset balls, it was a good day. Putted very well, no 3 putts, Tee to green was spotty with some awesome shots sprinkled in. Holes 18 Par 71 Length 6115 yards Slope 119 Rating 68.0
  13. Finally got out to play the Bridgestone mindset balls yesterday, First impressions off the driver was comparable to the Callaway Tour X ball about 5 yards shorter. To me the ball felt heavy on the face of the driver, flight was mid-high and spin was low. Iron shots were consistent with sound, feel, shot height and control. Most of the time when hitting the green it was a one hop and stop and if I needed to spin it back I was able to do so. Chipping around the green felt good and was able to do the same things with the Bridgestone as I do with the Callaway. Putting - I believe the Odyssey AI made it feel better than it really does coming off the face. distance control was perfect, no 3 putts Durability- so far no issues with the cover even after some tree action, no scuffs or road rash. Mindset- I think it will take some time to get used to but I felt as it was just an alignment aid for your line. More testing to come and some photos and video.
  14. Well I finally got the putting green started this afternoon, built up the base with more sand and spread it out making different breaks etc, tomorrow morning I will check it out during the day tomorrow since I ran out of light tonight. I may be asking all of you where I should place the holes so I can get the most out of the green. Here is the first picture of the base, sorry for the poor light. and it turned the picture to the right 90* (just great)
  15. Thank you @Wheelieb, great information, now I wondering how much my feet may be moving / sliding during the swing. May have to give these a go.
  16. Do the shoes make your feet feel as though they are tilted toward the center of your stance, curious as to how it help to produce a draw.
  17. Sorry you couldn't make any progress with the marks, I was hoping you would. Definitely keep and eye on it.
  18. I'm looking for the Steelers to pick the center from Georgia, this will help solidify the O-line with last years first pick
  19. I see you just joined in March of this year, you have an equal chance of being a tester as someone that's been around for years, that being said, you have to apply yourself in a few forum threads, make some posts engage others and enjoy the site re-read the How to be a tester guide. The MGS MODS take everything into consideration, doesn't matter how old you are, handicap, how long you've been playing, ETC. They have certain metrics to met with the manufactures to provide the most accurate tests and feedback, as testers we put in a lot of time and energy to complete, post, follow-up and engage with any and all members of MGS. So when you say that you will never be selected, I highly disagree! It may take a little time, but the time will come when it is your chance. Hope you stay with MGS, it's an exceptional platform for information, friendships, and engaging conversations on any topic with nothing but honest responses and even some joking around. ALL MGS members are AWESOME from the Top dog all the way down to little ole me. . what they say on the PGA TOUT... THESE GUYS/LADIES are GOOD!
  20. I got a project going on for an artificial install, high winds took out our pool, so I got a good base to start. I got to find a way to drain the area after all the heavy rains we get. I cant wait to see how yours turns out, good luck.
  21. Took the BMW to the repair shop, found out the idler pulley was making the whining sound the wife was hearing, They replaced it and out the door I went spending under 200.00 Happy Dance here, have a great day, going to roll out the new putting green and decide where I'm going to place the 3 holes on it.
