  1. I'm not a huge fan of training aids but I think the Lagshot works well if you have tempo problems like me
  2. I felt I putted well enough with an off the shelf one, but not really any better than my regular Scotty.
  3. I switch from Project X 6.5 to MMT 105x in September. The 105s are actually 115. I switched from P790s to P770s at the same time and I’m still not sold on the graphite. I like the feel, I also hit off mats every day so I know that it’s easier on my body. I actually kept the same distance, maybe even gained a little. I made a swing change at the same time so that’s probably been part of it. But I wouldn’t go back to steel
  4. Which LAB? I’ve had exactly the opposite experience.
  5. Which LAB? I’ve had exactly the opposite experience.
  6. I might run about 290 most of the time. But my average is probably 260 counting the tops and shanks.
  7. I also struggled going between a fairway swing, an iron swing, and a hybrid swing. They just didn't mesh for me. I hit fairways much better
  8. I just bought another Lagshot 7 iron. I've had one before and I did feel like it helped, but not enough to make a difference. Lately I've been having some tempo issues on course. On the range it's no problem but i must be getting rushed on the course so I grabbed one on clearance. I do find that they are pretty useful
  9. I used to play a 3 hybrid for my 250 yard club but I hit it very low and fairly inconsistently. Now I play a Ping G430 7w at 19.5* and it will hold a green at about 245. Perfect for what I need.
  10. 1. Quintero/Wick 2. WekoPa/Troon 3. Greyhawk 4. Southern Dunes 5. Verrado Victory 6. Verrado Founders Everything on there is very solid except Wigwam. It's not even in the same area code as the other courses. If I had to pick, I would grab Wickenburg and Quintero. They are very close to each other and both are in the boonies. I would consider both in the top 5 public courses in the valley. We Ko Pa and the Troon courses round out my top courses here. I disagree that Southern Dunes has a lot of forced carries but I suppose that depends on your tees. Just remember that the Final Four is here the first week of April and everything is still stupid expensive. While I do like the Verrado courses, they just don't compare to Q or Wick.
  11. Boulders is NOT worth what they are charging. Played south today. Good shape, but not that good.
  12. I just want to hear Max talk smack the entire time.
  13. Legen Trail is a horrible course. Never, ever go there. The drive is too far, the starters are mean, the weather is bad, etc.
  14. Not really about speed but that speed is fine for it.
