  1. I received mine in the mail today as well. One thing I did realize about myself before even receiving the balls and after watching the video, I don't look at one spot on the golf ball. I just generally look at the ball lol. After watching the video, I started looking at an exact spot on the ball. I found when I do that, I was hitting it fat, so I probably had a little vertical movement I wasn't aware of. It's gotten better the more I practice focusing on a specific spot. I think I'll play next Thursday and let everyone know my first thoughts.
  2. Mainly golf and fishing are my two. I fished exclusively for the 8 or so years I quit playing golf. Picked golf back up about 2 years ago and golf mostly exclusively now.
  3. Can't wait until opening day tomorrow, even though the Braves/Phillies just got pushed til Friday. Everybody starts tomorrow with the same W-L record, go Braves!
  4. I started playing the Maxfli Tours last year and really like them. I do like the new TM Tpx's too.
  5. MBuddy, keep us up to speed on how you do. I think I could do it, wish I could block out a day to try!
  6. Leaving this Saturday for a week. Not playing TPC but will play The Yards, do some fishing, eat at some restaurants we love and just relax. Can't wait!
  7. Yes, Jason24. Their website has how to make the set you describe as the lofts are not the same between the two sets. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll see if I can.
  8. So I've had them now for about 3 months. Brief history; played MP33's for about 10 years, then the 30's for more forgiveness since I wasn't playing as much. Anyways, the 225's are phenomenal. Very forgiving and probably a club and a half longer; not surprising considering the lofts are stronger. Although not true blades, they have a great topline and aren't as bulky as others I've seen. True Mizuno feel. I've got 5-GW but having trouble at the low in filling in gaps. Probably end up getting a 4 iron but unsure what to take out. Anyways, I love the clubs and couldn't be happier.
  9. Mizuno lifer. Played the MP33's forever then switched to MP 30's when I didn't play as much. These 225's are crazy pure and forgiving!
  10. Just joined, followed on Twitter forever. I took 7 years off (played competitively for a while). Just picked up the new Mizuno Pro 225's, absolutely love them. Currently in Upstate, SC, hope you meet some cool people and find out what's new.
