Dead Solid Bogey

YAY me…. Muddled through day one of the latest rendition of Special Couples Day. We hadn’t even made it out of town before the Empress of Economic Stimulus broke out laughing, she was nearly hysterical while she pointed out this sign on a truck….. That has been the high point of the trip so far. For our friends and fellow spies that are now going full force in getting their courses’s open. May any rust accumulated over the winter on your game be quickly removed. Enjoy and may you be amazed as well as amused by whatever this Saturday night may bring.

I am more than fine with the employees having a sharing pool amongst themselves.. I am however not a fan of and try not to support the forced fee/tipping pool that is handled by management. The Club manager, golf pro, and dining guru/chef shouldn’t be able to dip their hands into and share this pool.

Grateful for you and your family’s safety. If you get the time, maybe post where you feel sending a donation to, will do the most good for recovery in your area.

Private club member here. I am somewhat of a biased elderly snob. I readily admit to tipping more to waitstaff and golf course staff that I know and that jnow my likes and dislikes. I prefer to supplement cash to my favorites instead of adding everything to my club bill. This insures that those I want to get the money actually get the money instead of being forced to share some general equity/equality group pool of money.

This is where my fantasy retirement would be.. I would play out my string here in a heart beat…Fantastic isolation, in the middle of Cartel territory, two hundred miles from the nearest Wally World and close to one hundred miles from the closest McDonalds. Just a magnificent beautifully brutal area with the best killer public golf course in Texas.

For some reason only known by my better half; she just hates that particular picture of herself..

Man, Oh man….Beer and Brats the go to energy and protein sources for any serious athlete no matter their age. Congrats to the little one on his 7th birthday.

Good Saturday morning my spies.. May the weekend bring you joy and contentment. The SHE being is good, real good at getting what she wants. I have just received a royal edict that the “Princess of Payback” wants to venture forth on another Special Couples Day.. This DAY will last two or three days. When I inquired why the rush, as we just had a 3 DAY, Special Couples Day???… The wife person responded that she was confident that I would get my release next Friday to go play golf and that she wanted to spend time together before losing me to the links. Like I stated earlier, she is wickedly good at getting what she wants. So… Even as we are preparing to embark for the next journey for the Empress of the Exaggerated Elegance Expedition, I am already feeling the life energy draining from my being…. Again, may this weekend be one of your making and liking.

Also… I had been strongly considering getting an Administrative Assistant to keep track of all the equipment testing, reviews, and opinions of the equipment. But the mods/staff have blessed / cursed us with such a bounty of testing that I may need to go to a “ STAFF “ of Administrative Assistants to keep track of everything.

While I was being a tad facetious… Unfortunately the Cartel’s Middle School cadre is more heavy armed than what the jeep presents.. But it did get the point across to the wife person, whom also happens to be the only entity that rivals the Cartels here in Texas.

Friday is finally here.. The gateway to possible freedom and fun. This last week the only physical attachment to golf for what seems to be lasting an eternity was getting around to opening the “ Club Scrubber “ package and checking it out. The product works well, but made the longing for golf more intense. Still a week away from the next episode of my Medical Novella. Missed posting on this thread yesterday and late today due to having to complete some continuing education updates to comply with my contractual agreement with “ Those People Then had to deal with the new fleet leasing outfit that “ Those People “ have switched to. The young person I dealt with ( by sound of their voice ) had no idea what the terrain and roads along the Tex-Mex border are like. They were quite upset at not being able to downsize me out of my full sized 4x4 to a smaller pickup. Safety and customer service overruled their need for cheap. The she of the “ Female fiscal fiasco “ overheard me talking with fleet about a new vehicle. When I got off the phone she “ mentioned “ that if I got a new vehicle that she should get one also as her’s was four years old… . I said fine, call the fleet leasing outfit and give them her employee ID number and rank status. Her “ Duchess of Deficit “ spending, was not exactly thrilled with my answer. To try and nip in the bud this attempt at needless spending; I may have exaggerated a bit by saying if I got a version of one of these vehicle’s to work the border with, then I would get her the same vehicle in whatever color she wanted.. Next thing I heard was a loud Arrrgh!! As the keeper of my heart and owner of my life was going out the door to “ Friday’s Female Freedom Foundation’s “ … Happy Hour. May you all enjoy and have fun this weekend. If you are fortunate enough to get to play golf…. Try and keep it “ real “ by using some common truths like…. Enjoy and take care my friends, take care.

The Club Scrubber showed up a couple of days after I got placed on the golf IR. Finally got around to opening the package and checking it out… Tried being somewhat of an adult and didn’t swing any clubs just cleaned them, along with some balls. I was impressed with how well it cleaned the clubs and balls. I got the microfiber version so the outside can be used as a drying aid. My big scientific test was to wet a towel and the scrubber and left them out in the 90° sunlight. Towel dried out the scrubber did not. The big test will be when Texas gets back to triple digit days. We will then see how well the scrubber retains water. I will continue to carry multiple towels with at least one being wet. Plan on using the Sauce towel exclusively as a cooler. Adding pictures because @Erin B requested them. This is inside out for drying after using. Ready for the course… A look down inside. Guessing if I don’t get released to play golf, I can always use it to carry my tears of woe.

@CSiders12 loss is hard.. The loss of a newborn is crushing and unimaginable. May whatever faith or spiritual belief that you and the family may adhere to, give you all the strength and salve for your grief while you all start recovering.

YO,Yo,yo… @Erin B.. Glad that the female adult supervisory authority of the family is happy with her medical team.. Hoping for a quick treatment and healing timeframe. In some just mundane and boring news… To try and stay somewhat golf connected during my forced time on the IR, I finally got the Microfiber Club Scrubber and gave it a try out. Works wonderfully on dirty clubs and balls. Doesn’t take up much space on the bag or cart. Uses very little water. Still big enough to handle a driver’s head. I will still carry a towel to wipe my face and body with and to wave in surrender as needed. I will also use a towel as a drying aid. The tell all test will be to see how it does when the Texas heat kicks in and how well it retains water. The test ran during a 90° day found the towel drying out and the Club Scrubber did not. This is easier for me to use than manipulating the Sauce towel. Lazily I will be able to leave the Sauce towel as a primary or supplemental cooler and not have to worry about changing it around for its various functions. Again, the Sauce towel is very easy to use for those not dealing with manual dexterity issues as yours truly does… Good night and may dreams of golf fill your head.

Good Tuesday morning MGS… First off the wife person, is charging me a nominal fee for having posted on her trademark page / Royal seal … 666. Just can’t seem to get to far away from the mark of the beast…. errr… make that her high highness. Another great weather day for the golf that I WON’T be playing. Still 10 days from getting an update for the next episode in my Medical Novella. Not a lot else going on in world of the aged. Our town is probably at least as safe or even safer than most towns, but we do have our moments and our undesirables and semi-undesirables ()… The neighbor at the end of the subdivision entrance is even more technically challenged than I am. He decided to forego security cameras and told the rest of the neighbors that instead, this was what he had done and advised us to consider to…. @sirchunksalot hope the vehicle is a quick fix. Congrats to those chosen to do the latest testing.. TIA for the data and opinions that you will bring to the forum. May the rest of spy nation be the boss of your own Tuesday…

Heck. I believe I doubled posted a Joe Cool post…. Annnd I have no idea how I managed to do it. At least for me, I would appreciate the world putting AI on hold until they have sorted out and solved normal everyday stupidity.. I definitely could use the help.

On a more serious vein…. Is there a particular L.A.B. line that is more beneficial for those suffering hand damage ( nerve / muscle) than their other lines.

Snacks ( protein ordered / mandated stuff), golf balls, and pain killers ( non-alcoholic kind ) are about it for bulk golf purchases…at the present time. Who knows what the future will bring?

Saw where 15 year old Miles Russell tied for 20th at the latest Korn Ferry event… I am starting to develop a combination of envy and dislike for teenagers..
