  1. Putting has really improved since adding 3.0 superstroke fat putter grip, only missed 2 putts under 20 feet. Hit 15 greens too. And only missed 3 Fairways
  2. SLOW PLAY, WHEN there are no adverse conditions and no real cause for it. And people who flaunt the rules around improving lies and laying down grass, breaking branches , stomping ground and not adhering to grounding rules in bunkers
  3. What an awesome opportunity, I used Bridgestone B RXS about 3 years ago. I changed to Callaway chrome soft, and chrome soft x. Mainly for thier durability and ball speed, while spinning enough for control. Would love the chance to get back to Bridget's, as I've said before....If they are good enough for TIGER.....

  12. Bridgestone are definitely a good ball, I recommend. I used to use B330 rx or rxs. Good quality, just lacked Abita of ball speed and therefore distance. But hey TIGER loves them, they can't be all bad. Was probably the way I was hitting them. Lol As always.

  15. Hi, I recently decided to try the superstroke putter grips system and opted for the 3.0 model which is 33mm in diameter and I decided to add 70gm of weights as I'm a big guy and wanted to keep my short putting stroke. At first it was definitely different and was a couple of rounds before I found the spot on the grip where I was to hold the club, length wise. I will say that it is not uncomfortable or awkward, even from the very start. I have big hands, over 6 feet tall . So the large grip suited me immediately, the feel is different but it's a real confidence building feeling because it does everything they say it will, it really quiets the hands and possibly with minor grip adjustment makes the yips or false strokes impossible. I think I got lucky with the weights I added, because they just suited me immediately. Once you gain the feeling and get the confidence back into the putting stroke, you will really get dividends from a change to this SUPERSTROKE putting grip system. In the last 4 rounds I've played I've had 27, 25,24 and 26 putts, and only missed 3 putts within the 10ft circle. An absolute revolution, so much confidence to be hitting consistently down the target line. If you can pick the line and speed, when you hit the putt you see you make more putts. Honestly, worth a look into. Especially if you're misfiring, jerking or miss hitting putts and want something to improve feel and confidence. SUPERSTROKE, YOU BEAUTY!!
  16. I am, and have been a single figure handicapper for many years. This has usually for many years been maintained using whatever clubs I could get my hands on and barter for anything that improved my bag and game. I recently acquired Mizuno mp 54 irons that took my handicap from around 7 down to 3. I have also been lucky enough to be bought a new Taylomade sim2max driver and 3 wood. They are amazing, with the driver, a 9° version that is dialed down to 8° maybe even closer to 7.5°. I estimate I'm hitting roughly 15 to 20 percent more fairways, that's at 2 or 3 per round and have consistent distance gains and improvements of atleast 15 to 25 yards. It has actually forced me to rethink my strategy around my home course and the approach shots I play. Also the ability to shape the ball at will, with a consistent piercing flight path off the tee is amazing...BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO TAYLOMADE. Maybe one day I'll,get a STEALTH. Lol, probably once they are obsolete and a dimea dozen. My story doesn't end there, the most important thing I have to tell is SIM 2 MAX Fairway woods are brilliant. Seriously the 3 wood I now carry is by far the most forgiving best feeling longest and easiest to hit Fairway wood I ever had the pleasure of hitting. From distances of 215m to 245m with the sim 2 max 3 wood I have more confidence of getting on the green now,or atleast thereabouts than I do with a 2 or 4 iron from 200m. This Fairway metal Isa revelation and is without a doubt, the best Fairway wood setup you can have in your bag at your disposal. Strongly recommend TAYLOMADE SIM 2 MAX woods. Brilliant, BRAVO, BRAVO Taylomade.
  17. I have recently been lucky enough to upgrade my irons, I was playing an old set of cavity back blades. They were CALLAWAY X, I was lucky enough to be able to test aew sets to decide on the ones would buy. These were second hand sets at a pro shop, there was Titleist, Taylomade, Callaway and the one I settled on was Mizuno. Out of 10 sets 2 of the final four I selected were Mizuno. I was limited by the amount I had to spend, an older set of Titleist mb irons was canceled out then a Bridgestone set crossed off . That left 2 sets of Mizuno irons and the one that won the day was MP-54 5 iron to pitching wedge with carbon shafts in a stiff flex. The weight of the sets was amazing revelation, so light and allowing so much speed through the impact and the feeling or feedback through that shafts was something newfor me. I found the Mizuno irons are far away and above anything I had ever hit before, the feeling is so buttery and smooth with instant feedback on off center shots. Shots hit low on the face or slightly thin tend to travel just as far as a middled shot , ( after the inevitable run out). Have lowered my handicap from a 7 to a 3 , within 1 year with the new irons. I also upgraded more parts of the bag, will explain these changes in other blogs. BRAVO MIZUNO, many thanks. I can only imagine what I could accomplish with a bigger cheque book to buy some newer ones. Happy golfing Mcchilds
  18. I found this product a great feeling and distance ball that would get feedback on even the hardest dry greens, but was dissatisfied and disappointed with the durability. I found every wedge shot would scuff the surface quite considerably and was having to change ball every 2 or 3 holes as I can't play a ball knowing it's severely cut up. From a premium category ball, this was an expensive exercise, at around 8 or 9 dollars N.Z. money each. On top of all the other costs associated with playing golf, this was unserviceable and 50 dollars worth of balls in a round too much. My practice bag hasn't 2 dozen new balls. Has anyone else had a similar experience?, is there a new version of this ball available anyone can vouch for?. Is the TP5 a much better, more durable option?. What balls, would you recommend?.
