  1. U originally tested the TSR3 and ended up with the ping G430 and after 2 rounds I knew the ping wasn't for me. I went back in and tested the TSR2 and it was the best driver I have felt in years. It has not done me wrong yet. I have a 10 degree but ended up with the hzrdus smoke stiff shaft.
  2. I like the vice pro balls. I love the look of the drip but generally am not a fan of the logo design. The balls feel great the cover just gets scratched up too easily.
  3. I see alot of people saying the LAB DF 2.1. I really think that's a ugly putter but hearing how much it has helped you all I may give it a shot and see. I would love to see a couple strokes gained if a ugly putter does that I'm all for it.
  4. Yeah I'm glad others enjoy this as much as me. I'm going this week or next weekend to look at possibly switching to a x flex shaft. Just going to hit the various drivers with the x flex and see what changes in my shot and if I can finally lose this draw.
  5. Hello all! I feel like this needs to be said and shared. I am a big fan of buying used putters. I get alot of them. Some of the putters I see so beat up makes me wonder how they ever got so bad. So after paying attention to other players at the course I notice alot of people don't use their covers. Then the clubs gets banged around. I think it is so weird as there are so many cool putter covers available to suit taste. The manufacturers offer a good variations and Scotty Cameron in specific there are hundreds of different ones. Then the aftermarket has a ton of options that are funny or cool. Maybe it's just me because I buy used putters and I like all the different covers available.
  6. Hello all! I wanted to start this to just talk about putters. This seemed like the perfect place. I myself have gad probably 15 over the last 5 years. I find myself being a putter snob. I really enjoy old generation Scottys before they added removable weights. Those have the best feel to me and they are milled from one solid piece. Old Studio Designs were the best. I'm not into collecting I like to game everything. I am currently gaming a 2019 Copper Spider X. It was one of those putters I always liked the feel but never bought one situations. It took me a while to find one not chipped and scratched up but it is working out well for me.
  7. Hello all! I was curious if I was the only one or of others do the same thing. After all the new drivers release I will go to my local Roger Dunn and spend hours trying all the different drivers in different shafts and degree heads and different variations of each. My most recent purchase was a driver. I spent probably 3 hours at the store going through every brand and variation. Then I narrowed it down to 2 or 3 and hit them all together to decide on what felt best and was most forgiving for me. I did the same with my 3 wood and my 3 hybrid. My 3 hybrid was a long process because it was a combination of things like 2 and 3 driving iron and 5 woods and 2 and 3 hybrids. I just needed a club for specific distances. I could spend hours in a big golf shop testing equipment to see what I like. I just love doing this and thought maybe others do too.
  8. This is one of my favorite topics as I go through wedges like their is no tomorrow. I see you are in Arkansas. One thing that you have is used golf club shops. Sometimes even a driving range that carries used clubs. You could probably get yourself a set of Vokeys for under 100 per club. FB marketplace can be helpful to looking by searching for the specific degree clubs. The 48 is going to be the most difficult to find. They do not make alot of those. You can always have a 50 degree bent strong by a degree sometimes two. I also enjoy using rockbottomgolf.com for items I cannot find locally. Outside of that the Facebook page golf clubs and traders allows you to post a wtb add and there's always plenty of people willing to sell clubs just verify they are a known good seller.
  9. How long have you been playing golf? I've been playing on and off for 24 years. I started when I was 10 and have always enjoyed it. What’s your handicap or normal score? These days I shoot between 80 and 87. I'm a 13 right now. I'm really trying to work on my short game as that is where I lose my most strokes. What do you love about golf? I love the excitement you get when you go out and your on the first tee. The course is peaceful yet exhilarating. I think like many others there will be that one shot or one hole that brings you back wanting more. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I always read the articles on my phone and thought I should become a member to be able to post and share my experiences. Where are you from? What is your home course? I live in southern California. I do not have a home course. There are alot of courses around and I enjoy playing them all, well when they are well kept. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best thing about gold is I can play year round. The worst part is in the summer the heat can be brutal and the ground gets dried out. This makes for hard and fast fairways and greens. How’d you pick your user name? I remember when Ricky was getting announced on the first tee and they called him Ricky Flowers and I always thought that was funny. I still call him Ricky Flowers to this day. He is also one of my favorite golfers in the PGA.
