  1. Painful to watch. Caught the first hole but it's a hard no so far.
  2. Yes. My bad, I've added the wrong picture. The cup was so bad I only watched one hole.
  3. What are your thoughts on this so far? I forced myself to watch the first group play the first hole and I couldn't take it any longer. Way too much standing around and then when they finally hit a shot it turned into nonsense immediately. Does it get better at any point and become worth watching or did I just dodge a bullet shutting it off?
  4. Has anyone used TGW's customization service and can give us a review of the service? Considering buying an iron set and bc the shaft combinations are endless it's almost impossible to get exactly what you want from the used market. I'm also curious to see how specific you can get on the specs and how good they turn out.
  5. Chopping block - Titleist 906 F4 3wood. Not bc it isn't a great club but it IS pretty old and I'm sure the new one is better. Titleist 695 CB irons. I'm playing off 4 hdcp and I'm not sure I couldn't benefit from a T100 or T150. Everything else is safe in the cross section of it's effectiveness vs affordability of replacement. Replacing the 3wood shouldn't be too much of an issue, even with a shaft fitting. The irons are gonna run me 2K, even used. By the time you get the set, get them reshafted (bc let's face it, good luck finding them spec'd out the way you want), add grips and bending lofts and lie angles ... I'm guessing 2K. Would love a putter change to a SC Phantom X 5.5 but ... Life is expensive right now. Sadly.
  6. Yes, quality + budget friendly = value. And that's where my interest lies when purchasing almost everything
  7. I searched the forum and found no results for either of these off-season items. Has anyone found a budget-friendly version of these two products that they'd put their name on recommending? Us Snow Mexicans need something to keep us engaged through the long winter months.
  8. Really looking forward to some off-season training with @SuperSpeed Golf stuff I picked up.
  9. I've always used the same Oakleys that Poulter used. Great when they were polarized, great with prism lenses as well. Great coverage, fit well, comfortable and customizable. These are Oakley Flak 2.0 XL with ruby prism lens.
  10. Titleist T150 4-9 irons, Standard length, 2* flat and 2* weak, Lamkin crossline full cord grips, 1/2 wrap under bottom hand only, X100 shafts soft stepped, swingweighted to D4. Throw in a Vokey PW @ ~47* to hopefully fill the gap between 9 and my 52* GW, at the same specs. Still need to update my 3wood from the 906F4 to match my 7wood TSR2. Would love to add a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 in 33" 350g.
  11. I played two-ball worst-ball the entire hole, twice this week for nine holes after work. 42/39. Man, that's tough sledding! I didn't make ONE birdie and only really saved one par putt of any noteworthy length. It sure teaches you the importance of just hitting the middle of the green and not short siding yourself by firing at flags. That 4 footer you drained to save par isn't a par until you save it a second time. Worth trying if you don't mind getting slapped around a little bit by your own mistakes. LOL.
  12. I lost a perfectly good golf towel to a buddy doing the exact same thing. Come to think of it ... he still owes me a fkg towel. LOL
  13. When GC was born I thought we were going to get content we've never had before. Insight into how players practice, televised practice rounds with featured groups, televised practice range sessions and short game areas. I feel like they're struggling for new content and missing the boat on some of the things I've been dying to see. That might be because (as a Snow Mexican) we don't get ESPN stuff without paying a premium for the channel but I don't know. Anything else you'd like to see in terms of new content?
  14. This appears to be akin to a pro-am, from what I've seen so far. I have zero interest in seeing anything from the ams. I never attend a Wednesday of a PGAT event for the same reason. But ... any Max Homa content sounds awesome so I'll check it out
  15. Oh and the 7wood ... is absolutely THE best club I've ever owned. Highly recommended.
