msizzle got a reaction from KINGWinston in 9 or 18 ?
I always prefer to play 18. I recently started playing in a Wednesday night league and it is only 9 holes. We play at a course that has 2 separate 18's so we rotate to a different 9 every week. I don't mind the 9 holes, but with the new handicap system I feel like entering 9 hole scores every week isn't giving me as accurate a handicap as when I played only full 18 hole rounds. I don't always put 2 good 9's together so a higher 18 hole score is more accurate than 1 good 9 hole score and 1 bad 9 hole score.

msizzle got a reaction from cksurfdude in Ready Golf - The New Norm?
I wish more people played ready golf. It has been so frustrating playing public courses around me because rounds are 5 or 6 hours. Now that my golf buddies and I have little kids we can't spend half the day at the course. We usually end up getting one of the first tee times at a course on the weekend so we can get done in 3-4 hours and then make it home to spend time with the kids and go to their activities.

msizzle reacted to Josh Parker in Golf Shoes 101 Survey
New Balance carries the most 4E golf shoes of all the brands I have found. A handful of FootJoys

It would be great if more companies offered wide width shoes. Comfort is my biggest concern and its hard to find a shoe to fit my fat foot.

msizzle got a reaction from bama no 1 in How many balls do you carry?
When I was younger and walked all the time I used to carry 6, then as I got older and rode a cart most of the time it because closer to 20-30 as I never emptied the bag of scuffed balls. Never really had a reason since I never carried the bag. At the end of the year I'd clean it out and start over again the next year. Now, I try to mix it up ride, walk, and push cart so I'm trying to keep it around 6, unless I'm playing a course with a lot of hazards then I might throw in an extra sleeve and if I have to play a ball with scuff marks or one that was cut by my wedges so be it. It is better than killing my back with a few dozen balls.

msizzle got a reaction from William P in New Sun Day Red Apparel
I like the Tiger logo, but I don't like when it includes the S D R. The spacing looks awkward.
