  1. Just built last week a mixed bag of Titleist T-150’s and T-200’s! Waiting on the delivery! 150’s - PW-8i 200’s - 7-5i Project X LZ 6.0 120 grams
  2. Been playing with the MINDSET Bridgestone ball with my odyssey ai-one putter and I love the combination! The forgiveness and face of the putter mixed with a great mental game routine is key for eliminating awful 3 putts. Check out video below!
  3. Hey MGS forum! Took out the Garmin Approach R10 to my local driving range and played a round of virtual golf. Thought I’d share! Enjoy. Like and subscribe to see more of my personal golf journey/ outings!
  4. FIRST ROUND WITH BRIDGESTONE RX MINDSET BALL! I played a quick 9 during lunch break with the mindset balls! First impression, driver of tee couldn’t have been straighter! I typically play a strong fade but today was dead straight, slight fade or slight draw. I didn’t have to over compensate with my aim at all and had complete confidence looking at that little green dot. I noticed my approach shot were MUCH better contact and I really tried putting into practice the mind set routine (identify target, visualize shot shape, focus). Putting was hard to tell due to greens being really wet from recent rain, but overall I can tell the ball rolls end over end. The feel is great and I had no trouble rolling 300+ yards even with the RX model. I plan on doing a more in-depth analysis on my Garmin Approach R10 with some data but first impressions are promising! also, played one ball the entire round! Still have all 12 balls!
  5. I currently have been using the Garmin Approach R10 since last summer. The portability and ease is great. No problems with Bluetooth connection and it is very fast when connecting with Awesome Golf. Other than spin numbers being slightly off, I’m very pleased with it. I do wish it was a front facing simulator/launch monitor so it can save space behind me. I currently set it up at my house with a projector and impact screen. Check it out below!
  6. TIE BREAKER: Cut: -3 and better makes the cut Low Amateur: Neal Shipley Thanks MGS for another great opportunity!
  7. Just received mine today! Already have a lot of good ideas for my home simulator set up to get some data with myself and a slower swing speed player. Planning on making a video review because I love this idea/theory of a mental routine as well as a physical routine when it comes to addressing the golf ball.
  8. I hit down on it -0.3 degrees so really almost neutral. Spin typically is within 2600-3200 and it decreases the faster I swing. Thanks man for the kind words!
  9. Hello Forum! I have been hard at work at improving ball speed, club speed by hours of training, swing mechanics, etc… and have finally achieved a 300yds carry with consistent 165+ ball speed and 120+ club speed with driver. Mavrik Driver 9.5 degrees kai’li Mitsubishi x-stiff 60g shaft ProV1X ball I started standing closer to ball and focusing on full thoracic and lumbar rotation on back swing. CHECK IT OUT!
  10. I have been working on the past year getting my swing/club speed past 105mph and I currently swing 115-119mph consistently! Biggest thing for me is long take away, wide stance, explosive hips, and strong follow through. Ball speed currently is 165-169mph. WOULD LOVE SOME OTHER SUGGESTIONS FROM THE FORUM! Check out my video and subscribe to channel for more golf/life.
  11. Got picked for Bridgestone e12 Contact! I’ve played these in the past and really enjoyed them. But I have been on this ever long journey of finding the right ball for my game. The MINDSET ball will be a great tool for my mental game and to focus more. I often get distracted over the ball and my eyes jump all over the ball in the middle of my swing! Leads to mis hits and big ole duffs.
  12. Easy… tickets 100%. All the merch, famous player sightings, watching excellence in action, reselling tickets for extra cash. No debate….
  13. The one I consistently watch is Good Good Golf. It’s entertaining, lighthearted, funny, and pretty competitive golf being played. All the members are fun and mesh well together to make a very fun channel to watch on a weekly basis. for golf lessons, I typically go to the likes of Danny M. And Rick S. They both do a great job presenting topics in a easy to understand manner.
  14. HEY MGS TEAM! My name is Evan and I am super passionate about the science, technology, biomechanics, and over all performance of the newest golf equipment. I am always looking for ways to improve my game but also share my knowledge with other golfers and of course, MGS team. I am very analytical and this has led me to becoming a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) swing analysis instructor. I am also an avid vlogger and really enjoy being creative making videos of everyday life and my golf outings. I am able to give detailed and enjoyable content in regards to golf equipment testing with unbiased opinions. ***Check link below*** I would be very appreciative and grateful for any opportunity to contribute to MGS team and the great community of golfers here!
