I still have my HIO ball, keeping it in my kitchen drawer with my billfold and keys. This way it isn't going anywhere! Ha

Still a great shot! I've had few unofficial aces while playing alone along with two aces on par 3 course setup that I do not consider as my official ace. My ace came on April 25, 2019 on 205 yard shot that I did not see it go in as it's an uphill hole. #5 at my home club. I did have one cool 2nd ball "ace" for par, playing with my club pro. I hit my tee shot just right of green, uncertain if it bounced OB or not so I reteed, walked to cart then my pro said it went in. Drove down and found my ball 1-2" OB. Ironically it was also 205 yard shot.

My club pro told me this morning, as a T200 owner that I did well in couple tournaments with so I'm highly tempted to order a black T200 set. Not sure yet. Hmm. Ha -
Got your PM. It’s great getting in touch with you after 40 years and we’ll play a round soon. Small world!

I tried to send you a PM from my end but it would not let me. Maybe I need more posts. Hopefully, you are the one that I knew from early 1980's.

Ah, I have lot of fond memories of scrambles or Cat and Dog tournaments at Lebanon about 25-30 years ago. Your club champion (CH) plays often at my home club, Silo Ridge G&CC in Bolivar, MO. Silo Ridge is a private club, I do feel that yearly dues are one of best values for this kind of course in Missouri.

Usually I'll play with same ball for whole round then toss it back to my bag as a practice ball or toss it into a box for my son to use. He's about 25-30 HC and often loses the ball. When my ball gets scuffed up due to cart paths, I'll change it. When I lose my ball, it's often to watery graves on couple par 5 holes at my home club, Silo Ridge CC.

How do I convince my golf buddies it's time to change tee boxes?

This is very good discussion. We have 5 set of tees at my home club and we do not call red tees as ladies tees, just Red Tees. Many Seniors enjoy playing from it. I'm 61 with HC of +1 and I play mostly from white tees but will play from blues or gold tees if my playing partners wishes. I did shoot some outrageous scores(a 60 & couple 61's) from Red tees that was fun though. I don't care which tees as long as golf is enjoyable. My drives carries around 250-260 yds. Blues 6950, Whites 6250, Gold 5600, Reds 5300, Lavender(for Senior Ladies) 4700. Yes, I do see few golfers that has a big "Male Ego" that refuses to move up. They often tend to bog down the pace of play.
