  1. I do not own a pair and probably won't ever. Simply because of the fact that I would get crap on them.
  2. 1. I chose the "x" because thr forgiveness factor is crucially important to help my game stay as consistent as possible. Hitting the center of the club face is often a challenge for me and the ability to get the most out of those less then pure shots is something we all can benefit from in our golf game. 2. Thomas, Frederick, MD 3. Mizuno MP-20 HMB 4. Handicap-10.4 5. Would love to give feedback so others can make more informed iron decisions.
  3. Congrats @Rickp!!! Impressive to win without picking the actual winner!!
  4. Great write up, really enjoyed it. Felt the exact same way about my CC fitting. Solid experience but didn't end up buying from them with some of the upcharges that were suggested.
  5. Once was coaching against a kid who hit left handed and putted right handed. Was quite confused until I figured out what was going on.

  7. Thinking about either going with the flatstick or driver. Leaning toward driver because I am still playing my used R15.
  8. Early August is when my first child is due so definitely is a no go for me. The September date is middle of fall season so it'll depend whether games are home or away that weekend and will dictate my availability Saturday but I would certainly drive down for Sunday. Only an hour and a half drive for me.
  9. Completely agree! Been able to learn so many things from @DaveP043
  10. I change whenever I find something I like more. I used to buy used wedges so luckily have gotten away from that haha
  11. Some folks are sneaker heads or buy lots of golf clubs. I buy golf polos and hats. I've spent more money then I care to admit on apparel over the years. I do wear it daily though because it's comfortable and I work in college athletics so I am able to wear it to work.
  12. Testing is always a wonderful opportunity and will say that it often gives you an opportunity to work on certain areas of your game based off what you're testing. Really lean on your other testers because they become your "teammates" during testing.
  13. I really agree, though I think it has made the waiver wire much more competitive (already used more $ then I had last year haha). I do wonder if we might see a steeper drop off from the bottom of the standings, hopefully the engagement stays with it.
  14. It's the old I don't like my team so I'm not playing gig. I've seen it alot unfortunately.
  15. Love this for an update! And the mention of testing time has me excited!
  16. I feel like somehow you would have turned that trade into eventually Rory, DJ and Rahm being on your team haha.
  17. Not sure if this is a rules question but I figure those who know the rules understand the handicap. I use the Grint for keeping my handicap and have noticed that all of my countable rounds toward my handicap are from my home course. The issue I see is my home course scores vs everywhere else I play is at least 2-4 "strokes" different, which I feel is skewing my handicap. I wouldn't think this is an issue if it weren't for that I think the rating and slope is inflated (actually just looked it up and the USGA doesn't have a rating or slope for the course so my guess is it has not been done in the last 10 years). Since the course does not have a registered rating and slope should I eliminate using it for handicap purposes?
  18. It's nice TM didn't just wipe the slate when they updated it because I have been a myroundpro user since 2018, they still kept all of my old rounds I had entered. For those asking about entering info, I personally mark my scorecard with all the info I need and then enter after the round. Often does not take longer then 20ish minutes post round, sometimes I'll do it a few days later when I have more time. As for info I mark on my scorecard I mark what I teed off with, each subsequent shot (hopefully only 1 haha) club and distance, then for putting I write down number of putts and next to that the distance of each putt.
  19. Annnndddd I am out hahah
  20. Yeah he was a hard one to give up because I thought the same thing.
  21. I liked @jddaigneault @Weekend_Warrior @Josh Ross @GolfSpy_APH drafts. Just were the few that stuck out to me as solid teams. Two of which have Carlos Ortiz so good luck with him, he was someone who was in contention one moment and then imploded the next moment. Huge roller coaster ride with him on the squad last year haha.
  22. How would you say you create the transfer of speed training to actual golf swing? Example during SS training I have topped out with my driver in the 130 range however put a ball in front of me and I average around 107.
